    I'm not confirming anything, just that those expectations are beyond unrealistic. He would be a Mike Trout ceiling demi-god level prospect if he hit for those numbers in AAA next season.

    Those are extremely unrealistic expectations for a 22 year old who hasn't had an at bat above High A. Last year there was not a single player who hit .300+, 15+HRs, 80-90 RBIs, 30+ SB in the International League. The only player of age who really came close was Byron Buxton, also 22, but also was a former #1 prospect in the entire MLB. And he only had 7 stolen bases. The only players since 2012 to come close were 25 year old Steven Souza and 25 year old Kevin Pillar back in 2014.

    There will be multiple teams out there that will sign and pay him big money to play 3B full time. I just don't think he signs here to start at almost exclusively 1B. A lot of his value comes from his defense at 3B which you would be paying for, paying for him to not provide that 3B defensive value as a 1B.

    He's not a utility player anymore, he played 1200 innings at 3B last year and 1 inning at 1B.

    Urena would give you a season similar or worse to Raul Mondesi Jr. if you threw him in the lineup next year. I think he needs way more at bats in the upper levels of the minors, and that this is a very bad idea.

    I don't know how reliable the catcher framing metrics are for AA/AAA, but Reese McGuire and A.J. Jimenez both rated out poorly among catchers at those levels and MLB. McGuire at 348 and Jimenez at 356 out of 406 catchers http://www.baseballprospectus.com/sortable/index.php?cid=1899933
