  4. I've broken like, 1 news story in the past 5 months. And it was for Pat Cantwell
  5. Emily Waldon says that Vlad Jr. looked absolutely lost at 3B in the game she saw him, "uncomfortable". She says she thinks Bichette is "more of a 2B than a shortstop" while then reciting his 6 errors this year but went on to say the next game she catches Lansing will be the first she sees of him.
  6. Pardinho Hometown: Lucelia, Sao Paulo, Brazil Position: RHP Age: 16 DOB: 1/5/2001 Bats: R Throws: R Height: 5'10'' Weight: 155 lb. Watch Scouting grades: Fastball: 65 | Curveball: 55 | Changeup: 50 | Control: 55 | Overall: 55 The new face of baseball in Brazil, Pardinho burst onto the scene last summer when he pitched for his country in the under-16 Pan-American Baseball Championship against the Dominican Republic and struck out 12 batters in the win. He became an international sensation when he pitched two-thirds of an inning in relief for the country's team in the 10-0 win against Pakistan in the World Baseball Classic qualifier last September in New York. The teenager's fastball has touched 95 mph, but it usually hovers in the 90- to 93-mph range. Pardinho also throws a curveball, slider and changeup. He's impressed scouts with his advanced approach on the mound and experience against top competition. Some scouts have expressed some concern about Pardinho's overall upside and projectability given his smaller frame. Pardinho trained at the MLB Brazil Academy, located at the CT Yakult Academy, and is represented by Rafa Nieves of Beverly Hills Sports Council. The Blue Jays are the favorites to sign him.
  7. Hometown: Santiago de Los Caballeros, Dominican Republic Position: SS Age: 16 DOB: 9/5/2000 Bats: R Throws: R Height: 5'11'' Weight: 170 lb. Watch Scouting grades: Hit: 60 | Power: 50 | Run: 40 | Arm: 50 | Field: 50 Hiraldo is a pure hitter, arguably the best overall hitter in the class, and that's why he is one of the most coveted players on the market. He can play shortstop and there's a chance he stays at the position, but there is also a belief that he might end up at third base. Second base is also a possible destination for the versatile fielder, as is the outfield. This much is certain: Hiraldo is a hit-first prospect and he has a chance to be a special player on offense. Scouts like Hiraldo's approach and his swing. He's a mature player with quick hands, a plan at the plate and he can hit the ball hard to all fields. He's also been praised for his makeup and how he plays the game. Hiraldo trains with Juan Herrera in Santiago, Dominican Republic. The Blue Jays are the favorite to sign the infield prospect.

The 20-year-old Maese (Win, 3-2), rated by MLB.com as the Blue Jays' No. 10 prospect, allowed only two sixth-inning runs - one earned - while striking out five Bees. It was his second straight seven-inning start. Bo Bichette put the Lugnuts on the board quickly with a first-inning RBI triple against Burlington starter Joe Gatto (Loss, 2-2). J.B. Woodman lined a two-out, two-run double in the fifth, increasing the Lugnuts' lead to 3-0. Burlington shaved the lead to one run against Maese in the sixth, thanks to an RBI double from Jahmai Jones. Jones then daringly tagged on a foul popout to first base, advancing plateward when Christian Williams' s throw bounced past third baseman Vladimir Guerrero, Jr. Lansing added insurance runs in the sixth, via Williams RBI double, and in the eighth, via Ryan Hissey sacrifice fly, to close out the scoring. Lefty Dan Lietz pitched a scoreless eighth, and Jackson McClelland (Save, 6) faced the minimum in the ninth. Each allowed a single. Both Williams and Bichette enjoyed two-hit games for the Lugnuts. Guerrero drew a fourth-inning walk to extend his on-base streak to 23 games. The middle affair of the three-game series is Comic-Con Night, set for 7:05 p.m. Saturday between Lansing's Patrick Murphy (2-0, 4.64) and Burlington's Erik Manoah (0-1, 4.24) in a battle of right-handers. The first 500 fans in attendance will receive a free "Guardians of the Galaxy" comic book, and LAFCU Fireworks follow the game. Tickets may be purchased at the stadium box office, by calling (517) 485-4500 or via lansinglugnuts.com. 9. His brain is mush. Someone tweeted at him saying they wish he would be back on the field soon and he replied saying "I wish so too but my brain won't let me." and deleted it less than 5 minutes later.

  11. We can't see end of the season numbers now.
  12. EE has better numbers than Morales this season.
  13. Well it's wrong. Morales projects for a 109 wRC+ and 0.6 fWAR rest of season, and EE projects for a 119 wRC+ and 1.5 fWAR.
