  1. this happened
  2. Houston hit .219/.337/.385 w/ 21 runs scored in 5 games Cleveland hit .144/196/222 w/ 6 runs scored in 3 games (and that was only because Lindor had a 1.273 OPS) lol grant
  3. uhh Cleveland? I guess you did say recent memory
  4. Wander Franco.. better than Vlad as a 17 year old in the Appy league.
  5. Now just think there's another Vlad on the way but has a chance to stick at short.
  6. It's not terrible. SRF is way too low IMO. Yes his walk rate was too high in the MLB but his numbers look good under the hood. I don't know why Jonathan Davis is on this list. I would take most of the prospects ranked after him in a heartbeat. I don't love Billy McKinney but think he's too low. Pannone was pretty bad in his debut, unless you like soft tossing lefties. Maybe he becomes a decent LOOGY or something. I would have tried to rank Yennsy Diaz, Adam Kloffenstein, Maximo Castillo and Riley Adams. Patrick Murphy had a bit of helium as well. I guess you can't rank everyone.
  7. Oh look, more guys who had a history of an elite level performance in the minors. Maybe they were just always f***ing good. You can't change your swing and go from bad to instantly an elite level performer, it doesn't work like that. Your example would have worked better for Johan Camargo.
  8. Swing changes are mostly ******** narratives created by the media to create a story. Players are always tinkering with their swing. It's far more likely that Zobrist was always a talented player, he just needed more time and opportunity to succeed. Zobrist was an elite level performer at the upper levels of the minors, just like Josh Donaldson, Max Muncy, etc.
  9. Here I thought Josh James was white.
  10. That's why the Kelly Johnson comparison makes sense. Zobrist has been a top 10 player in the game over the past 10 years, it's not realistic. And if Biggio ends up with a Kelly Johnson like career that would be a favourable outcome, one in which the Jays should be happy with.
  11. The Zobrist comp doesn't make any sense. They aren't similar profiles at all. The only thing you could say they have in common is they play multiple positions but even then Biggio has yet to play anywhere other than 2B or 1B and he hasn't proven to be any good at those positions.
  12. Ryan Schimpf Daniel Robertson Kelly Johnson Rickie Weeks Jr Scott Sizemore Yoan Moncada Logan Forsythe Jason Kipnis Dan Uggla
  13. Biggios walk rate in 2018 could very well be an outlier too. I doubt he'll repeat 17% again. Probably fall back down to the 10-13 range. Then again his entire profile changed as a hitter too so who knows Buffalo has been a bit of a graveyard for hitters like Tellez, Pompey, etc. so it'll be interesting to see what he does there. Hurls previous comp for him was Ryan Schimpf, but no one is going to like that outcome
  14. Derek Dietrich had kind of comparable numbers as Biggio at AA in 2013. Both LHH
  15. Not too sure. He has a wide range of outcomes and it's pretty hard to predict.
  16. Ben Zobrist is 7th in position player fWAR since 2009. I'm going with no.
  17. I'm just demonstrating that the s***** pitching prospect you are trying to sell is littered with red flags and will undoubtedly get rocked when he gets to the majors. Assuming his elbow doesn't explode before he can make it. T.J. Zeuch had the same swinging strike% as Trist-on, lmao
  18. Average fastball velo for a SP in 2018 was 93.1. So, that would be non elite, decidedly average. He didn't get strikeouts and his GB% was 33%. Fap Fap Fap
  19. That forearm injury which sidelined him for 3 months combined with a mega drop in strikeout rate and non elite pitching velocity looks pretty scary for a pitching prospect.
  20. Orlando Arcia of all people goes deep to centerfield.
  21. The Dodgers have consistently been one of the best organizations in baseball and deserve to win. Wade Miley can eat a bag of dicks.
