    Cathal Kenney wrote an article on this subject today. He thinks Gibbons deserves to stay because a manager only works the bullpen. I don't agree with him. I've seen some great managers. Gibbons is not one of them.

    I dont think that's the problem. I think this team has no cohesion. It's why players keep swinging for the fences and getting caught at 2b. They don't believe there will be scoring otherwise. That's a leadership problem. Aren't we the worse hitting with RISP?

    I know that bothers me. Either you think managers don't matter so it's as irrelevant as who the janitor is or you think managers set the tone. Personally I remember Sparky Andersonand the effect he had. I think he was a true leader and we don't have one.

    I think AA asks derosa if he wants to go. There can't be anything much in return.

    Just a thought but should we have a strike whereby we don't watch or listen to a game to show our displeasure? And by that I mean AA doing nothing to turn the team around.

    I think it's more like they're trying to gauge the market for JJ and leverage off that trade.

    At 2b he has to dive more and has runners coming at him. It should be interesting.

    It's generally easier to get injured at 2b. Wonder how long it'll take.

    What are the odds that Bickford refused a physical. Technically that would not be a financial issue.

    Just a thought but why haven't we heard of a JJ to LA Dodgers rumor? It seems possible.

    Not sure who would take a chance with the money owed. Imagine you're a gm that picks him up and his arm explodes two innings later? I don't think many gms would want that on their record.
