    All I know is Hentgen is gone and until he speaks up I don't know why.

    I would have believed it if they said they didn't gel. I think Hentgen is standup, my comments weren't directed at him. I always liked and respected him going back to his playing days. I find management is not reliable these days.

    Maybe he didn't gel with Gibbons. Maybe didn't like being assistant pitching coach. All I know is that I don't believe anything that comes out of management.

    My first game was 1973 I think. Oakland and the Yankees. Reggie Jackson !!!

    That team had a number 4 starter (in terms of innings) with almost 220 innings. Two were in the 260 range. It was a whole different era.

    Mike Marshall of the dodgers did something like 208 innings all in relief.

    Bowdens account would be the least reliable. He's AA s guy.

    It depends. Maybe they think talking to AA is like getting an annoying sales call from India. I get them weekly for duct cleaning. Don't even listen to them anymore. Maybe same here.

    It sounds like other GMs see talking to AA as a waste of time. I didn't see that one happening.

    I can't seem to copy it. Have a look over there but is not complimentary to AA.

    I thoughti saw something about Wells being a negative addition to the cap.

    He just won't be consistent with his knuckler. Of his 100 pitches only 25 will be good as opposed to a major leaguer.
