    Watching this Yankee game. The play by play guys having a reasonable discussion like two normal guys. No great comments about Rogers. Baseball analysis. Nice.

    Last year he was doing well for a bit in the minors and I thought bring him up for a bit and take advantage of his hot period. Getz seems to be this years Negrych. Run him till he's cold then say good bye.

    At first that's why I thought it was being done. Ten days in the minors then up he comes. Now we're burning another roster spot for no reason. That's AA.

    Actually it's a bit different than that. In Toronto it's a very small group of people who follow or understand baseball. They're more inclined to discuss who the 4th line left winger for the Leafs will be than realize Adam Lind can't play 3b. I remember having a discussion with somebody who thought Joe Carter should start at 3b during the world series because it wasn't that hard.
