    I've also got this weird feeling about a trade happening this week: Lukes for a pitcher. I have no source or anything, just see him as an extra.

    Thanks Spanky, when I was watching the Schneider interview at the game, Schneider kind of left it open and I don't remember them saying Bastardo had been told. Might have happened after the game.

    Where did you see about Bastardo/Miles? I'm also not yet convinced about Davis Schneider over Leo.

    Any word or rumour on the two Rule 5 pitchers? I'm assuming we want to keep them both but will have to offer their teams something. Maybe Nance or something like that?

    Isn't there something about if Yesavage gets ROY and he plays the 162 game season then we get a first rounder or something like that? I'd imagine the team would be interested in this.

    I like Scherzer a lot but I don't think he'd work as a reliever -- he has to prepare himself mentally a lot on the days he pitches. It wouldn't work in relief.

    I'm pretty sure this was a foregone conclusion -- that he'd be back. When I saw Ricky T wearing 33 instead of the 31 that he always wants to wear, I knew it was being held back for a reason.

    There's always a star of spring training that moves up a lot. Any favorites this year?

    You probably have better competition between the desi's there. I'm in Newmarket-Aurora and that's the going rate here. Either way, I agree with you, much better than using Rogers or Bell. I think it's 14,000 channels and lots of movies.

    I get it for $15/month. You get more stations than you know what to do with them all. The best part is dedicated channels for each team so you don't have to look too hard.

    Ty France just signed with the Padres on a minor league/spring invite. Is this the first current gold glover in this situation?

    This is the replacement for Santander. Probably about right.
