  1. Now if only we can get Lawrie to lay off the junk. Melky has looked great though, still a little susceptible to high heat, but who isn't?
  2. Yeah baby. Bring on the mediocre women and homebrew wine. Yeeee
  3. Scratch Peralta, Farnsworth and McGee off the list for tomorrow. Hopefully Rodney is showing a little wear if they call on him. Boo f***ing yeah.
  4. Well you've gotta think Rodney is a no go, at least for tomorrow. Mcgee most likely as well. If we can get to Herndandez(1-4, 5.28) early we can do some major damage to their bullpen structure for game 3. Heres hoping we bat around early so we can get to the meat of their pen, like Ramos(6.14 era) and Gomes (5.56). What do you think?
  5. Pint of cider for myself. Gotta love it.
  6. Great game. Guess we won't be seeing Rodney tomorrow. Gotta love Maddon blowing up his bullpen in the first game. Lets hope Happ as his s*** together for tomorrow
  7. Too bad we couldn't of ate some Mets salary and kept Syndergaard. I'd love to have him in Dunedin.
  8. Anyone have a decent link for a scouting report on Smoral. Need to familiarise myself with him.
  9. If it mean't not watching Beuhrle heave 85 mph floaters down the gut I wouldn't be opposed. Not to mention in two years when were paying everyones favourite pit bull advocate 19 mil.
  10. Things must be rough, I find myself wishing the Jake Peavy deal had went through. Pretty bad when your dreaming of a pitcher who hasn't been healthy in, well forever..
  11. He's made some decent international F.A. Signings though. Lugo, Barreto, and especially Osuna come to mind. Sure beats the hell out of guys like Balbino (shudder) Fuenmayor
  12. Well for me it comes down to the fact that Delabar is probably the only guy in our pen with two plus pitches. I mean Janssen has plus control/command, Santos has a plus fastball and is probably a shade below plus on his junk. Delabar's splitter and fastball combo scream high leverage guy to me. Especially if he maintains that filthy K/9 from last year. Thanks for the welcome btw
  13. Figured I'd say hello. Former bluejays.com poster from around 2001(I think). Been lurking for the last decade or so. Great to have somewhere troll free to discuss the Jays. Anyways that was a hell of win today. Nice to see my boy Delabar with a smooth inning. When he's on his game paired with Janssen it allows the team to play seven Inning games. Curiousity, does anyone see the jays dealing Johnson/Happ/Romero to replenish the farm? Or maybe for cost controlled young talent? Anyways lads, look forward to chatting with ya.
