Smart would be so frustrating to watch as a Celtics fan. He should be playing a similar style to James Johnson, limit the jumpers, bruise into the lane and play good D. He has been a big negative for them I think.
James just saved a terrible demar shot and we got a basket out of it. Loving those plays, defense has been stellar and he's proving to be a good passer for his size
The worst part of it all is that JV is being even more effective this year....in less playing time! Before leaving early yesterday he was averaging 14/9 with 1.7 BPG in 25 minutes. Get it together, Dwane.
He's been fine and it's only been 3 games. If we want to look at short samples, Greivis was awful the first two games, played well against Miami though
I was screaming at my TV during this whole game. Loss completely sits on the shoulders of demar and kyle IMO.
How the f*** does your starting backcourt missing 11 fts. Also Amir was clearly missed especially since Patterson has been pure garbage to start the season
Updated Trade Block on my team:
Everyone on my big league roster outside of Bryce and JUpton. Building towards the future. Looking for young big leaguers and good prospects
Lol.
He was tangled with the guy and had no idea that Cousins was freakingout. He had his back to him and all of a sudden a 270 lb behemoth is running at him with his fist cocked. I think flinching is only human
All pitching breaks eventually...deGrom already had shoulder issues this season. Not like he's immune. I'd rather spread my pitcher risk across three guys.
Opportunity cost was low as I would be cutting guys I didn't really want to keep anyway.
I agree that he may never be a star but I think an all star appearance or two is very light. Many big men don't even develop until mid 20s and he's already a legit starter. Could put together a 14-10-1 line on good efficiency at 21 years old.
I don't think many people understand how good that truly is.
He has holes to fill obviously. If he can improve on his passing out of the post/turning the ball over, that alone will make a world of difference.
