  1. Despite the East not being great, I don't think one big free agent fixes them next year (considering it isn't Lebron or Durant). There are still a lot of quality teams (cleveland, chicago, toronto, miami, charlotte, indiana with george, washington, brooklyn, milwaukee and orlando are looking much improved) that they would have to pass over Not that I am against moving the pick if the right deal comes along
  2. It sounds like he has a grade 2 sprain. I had one of those last year and it took me about two weeks to get back to a point where I could run effectively using a brace. However, I didn't have a super medical team giving me rehab daily. I would bet he's out 10-14 days though, as I think the Raptors will want him as close to 100% as possible
  3. https://vine.co/v/O5LmAVB6AUt This is good, right?
  4. The whole point about Jonas not being out there is the fact we got molested on the glass and they created many 2nd chances due to their vast size advantage. Like jays fever said, Patterson has been awful and he played 24 minutes and did dick all. The problem with demar is he continued to force terrible shot attempts all game rather than trying to get to the rim and create for others. When his shot isn't falling, he doesn't change his style up and continues to put up contested mid range shots. You cannot do this against elite defenders and it's been proven time and time again. Great thing about this game despite everything that happened, we were really 2 mistakes away from being right there at the end. If Ross doesn't commit that bonehead foul on Dunleavy when he was trapped with 3 seconds left and one of those wide open threes was hit by Ross or Lowry/Amir doesn't throw the ball away.
  5. Patterson isn't even the issue for me, he had HAnsbro out there too, who is much worse. At least Patrick has started hitting 3s lately. When we were getting destroyed on the boards, Jonas had 8 in 23 minutes...just think Casey.
  6. I haven't had a chance to read through the thread yet, however, this game imo was largely blown by Casey and Demar. How did casey keep JJ on the bench the whole god damn 3rd quarter and not take demar out sooner, who was getting eaten on defense and throwing up consistent bricks. YET he takes out JV who had 8/8 in 23 minutes on 50% shooting!?!? f*** his rotations have pissed me off lately
  7. We need a big game from JV and Casey to give him 30+ mins against this front court. I don't see us winning if Hansbro plays 20+ minutes
  8. If this whole push for KD thing doesn't work out, Horford would be my #1 target. I love his game and he would be a perfect fit, could even push Amir to a bench role (who knows how it will work out with Amir's new contract). That would be ideal
  9. There clearly needs to be an upgrade on Hansbro. He provides nothing defensively or offensively. I guess energy but that's not what we need from him really
  10. I'd like to see JJ get some of Greivis minutes, but you just know GV would bitch about it.
  11. By the way Ross has been a monster from three the last two games, I don't think he had enough looks
  12. If only Casey had the balls to sit demar down. He's not providing anything at all tonight
  13. Lou, JJ and Ppat saved this game. Amazing performances
  14. Exactly. JV is the only one with the required strent to guard and box out Vucevic without help. Jonas has been bad in transition but it's not like the defense has been magically better with the bench out there.
  15. Vuc does nothing against him either, he's done a nice job on him I think
  16. It annoys me how much blame Jonas takes from the broadcast. There are two guys wide open he takes Vuc and Frye hits an open shot and it's all his fault.
  17. Guessing you don't catch too many Clippers games? Gordon was known for his great defense going into the draft, really good in transition already and a pretty solid rebounder. Even if he never improves he will be a good player. That said, ECJF is right, he's still very raw offensively but he has the ability to become the next Blake.
  18. The Phx and GS games should be awesome, all three teams have top 5 backcourts. Steph Curry is creeping his way up the best player category, has to be in the top 5 now
  19. That will tell us a lot about what we can expect from this team in the playoffs, I think.
  20. I really don't see Ross being dealt, he is our best wing defender (non-JJ division) also is huge in spreading the floor. Take Ross out of the lineup and the spacing would be brutal for that starting unit. He is going to be a very good 3+D guy and is showing a bit more playmaking this year.
  21. Never know. GV crying and s*** in press conference saying he wants to be here blah blah, holds out for 6.5 as a backup guard playing 20 MPG
  22. I wouldn't give mroe than 8 per year honestly. He means more to us than he would to the open market, plus we have extensions for Ross and JV coming up, together could cost around 22-24 per season
  23. Those fouls were so weak on JV, ref was embarrassed for Nene on that huge block... but TROSS doe
  24. Those jerseys! <3
  25. out rebounded by 31 lol
