  1. Wilson Chandler is a nice piece, especially if you have him attacking. Similar to JJ, if you get him playing the right way he could be really good. I think you could get both him and JJ 25-28 mins since almost all of JJs mins come at the 4
  2. good contest by JV! Nice to see him make a contribution in a game he was pretty awful in
  3. That was such a bad shot lol, not sure why Lowry passed it to him
  4. f***, demar
  5. I legit laughed out loud when he said the 50 point scorer. Mo Pete is the Joe Morgan of basketball announcers
  6. Lol man, how long till they can this half time trio? B-r-u-t-a-l
  7. I haven't made too many trades in DDL or at least I can't remember them... My Edwin for Gallo and Sano deal is probably going to make or break my team going forward. Upton for Darvish will be interesting depending on where Upton ends up but either way I think that's pretty close. I suppose you could say my Degrom for 3 oldies was bad but I needed more arms (I like Floyd and Sabathia) and I'd rather spread my risk around (although i should have researched Beckett's injury more...)
  8. http://www.torontosun.com/2015/02/10/valanciunas-making-big-stride-on-defence Article by Wolstat on JVs strides on defense this year, decent read.
  9. I like both alternates, the home and away are pretty basic though, not that appealing
  10. 100%. Trading him at this point for a backup big man at his lowest value seems like very poor asset management. Cannot see Masai making a move like that
  11. I dunno man. If we had Ross of last season right now I don't think everyone is calling for his head, he clearly has the ability to be a decent to good defender with a quality 3 point shot. That's a useful player in the league that does carry value
  12. Lol Gobert, that would be such a haul for us. That guy wouldn't be dealt unless it's for a premium. I don't think we are title contenders, so trading Ross right now makes no sense imo. His value is at it's lowest of his career. If anyone here wanted to move Ross for Scola, I don't even know how to respond to that...
  13. hahah this made me laugh. +1
  14. Going to see GV attempt to cover Crawford, should be fun to watch
  15. It's almost a bad thing when he hits a couple early long distance 2s, gives him the confidence to keep doing it. I agree - if his shot selection was similar to someone like Giannis - who takes 72% of his shots within 9 feet of the rim, compared to Demar who only takes 33% of shots from 9 feet and in - he would be much, much more efficient
  16. Article from nba.com: Defenders can feel comfortable going under the screen against DeMar DeRozan, who has an effective field goal percentage of just 33 percent (33-for-100, 0-for-1 3PT) when coming off a ball screen, last among the 65 ball handlers who have taken at least 100 shots. He does get to the line a good amount, though.
  17. I'd love to see us get someone like Carroll or Wes Matthews this offseason - need that type so badly. Good defender and great shooters
  18. Another epic Casey fail tonight - how does he run the bench for 15 consecutive minutes?
  19. so why did JV get pulled?
  20. Nice to see JV back in early 2nd Q. Only one being even close to effective offensively
  21. I think I may have a man crush on Giannis
  22. RG3 comment is pretty off base here, as he's known to be very intelligent
  23. LOL did they really get a wide open shot there?
  24. That was lovely. Where was that earlier Casey
