  1. First lefty to hit a HR off Betances in his Major League career. Clearly a stud
  2. Any rebuilding teams looking to acquire prospects for MLBers? Potentially move Gallo, Judge etc. Open to pitchers and position players.
  3. If you want to contribute to the cause and tank next week, that would be super
  4. Still looking to add closerz - if you have any, get at me
  5. Oh, hey buddy. You are still alive I see No gif or jpeg? Disappointed in your effort
  6. Looking like an offensive slugfest...so here's to one of his 16 aces blowing up his ratios!
  7. Would be very happy if it was for 60. Much rather him over Kanter + better contract
  8. About that babip...ya'll jinxed the poor man
  9. "Hahaha cool. Having said that, Fernandez will probably blow his arm out, Syndergaard and Bradley will probably bust altogether, Myers will probably be a .230 hitter and Lindor will probably be a glove-only guy." You were pretty close...pesky Syndergaard had to ruin everything!
  10. They have seemingly put good assistants around him. Greer takes over next year if the defense has a good showing maybe?
  11. Can a commish verify this for me, I dealt a 3rd round pick to jaysblue and the doc says I still have a 3rd. Is that from another deal I have done or was it just not removed?
  12. Yeah, I wasn't directing anything at you, just saying the team philosophy is a joke. They admit the league is ever changing but cannot anticipate the changes. When the changes happen in the league we are always lagging behind due to our rigidness.
  13. So...Cashner has 4.2 IP 8 K 0 ER and the game gets PPD. I'll brb, going to cry
  14. It's a joke man. JV's profile coming into the league is that he runs the PnR really well, but Casey never ever runs it for him. His only touches come on back downs in the post
  15. Casey's strategic thinking is so weak. Says Ball movement and body movement is the best thing for the offense....but Demar is an elite mid range shooter so we need to get him those looks. Funny thing is, he's actually good from the right side of the court but the majority of his plays come from the left side
  16. In case anyone was getting false hope about JV playing more in the 4th quarters, don't: Casey: At the end of games, the trend is to go smaller. Threes are fours, fours are fives, and your roster has to fit that. Adding DeMarre gives us that flexibility. He can play some at the four, with Scola or Patrick Patterson at the five. We're better equipped to play that way now than we were a year ago. The league is going to their more skilled guys toward the end of games. Trends come and go, but right now, we have to participate in that trend. http://www.nba.com/2015/news/features/john_schuhmann/07/18/dwane-casey-qanda/
  17. I can't express enough how much I love Powell's defense. Showing the ability to guard 1 through 3, moves his feet so well + 6'11 wingspan. Good combo
  18. For sure. He is a project but not one that is terribly far away, can contribute a little bit this season
  19. I found this earlier but Im not sure how legit it is. Havent read it in too much detail yet http://intentionalrounding.com/when-does-passer-rating-stabilize/
  20. His profile fits the NBA though, could be a useful role player going forward. Solid defender with a huge wingspan, really good athleticism. If he can pair that with a jumpshot we may have something here. Obviously not expecting a stud, but something useful in the 2nd round is a big win.
  21. what a ridiculously small sample
  22. That's my list too. I have Jordy right there with ODB as well
  23. Demariyus is mostly due to the offense he is in, pretty overrated among WRs. I have him around 8th or 9th going forward. (I recognize you were talking about last year only)
  24. Apparently not. As I said, you don't really know what the asking prices are. 5/70 is very reasonable for a player with his impact, but I think Denver messed up paying Demariyus the same amount. Dez is noticeably better
