    With Gose' struggles in the minors (though he didn't seem to be overpowered in his short call-up) I'm content with holding on Rasmus. He seems to have really cut down on his strike outs. CM is magic.

    Another thing. Imagine if we had let Lind and E5 go. Wasn't it no more than two years ago these two were put on waivers? ;/

    It's amazing how Lind is treating LHP this season. I thought he didn't stand a chance against lefties and at best he could return to his 2009 form, which consisted of solely destroying righties. But now he's destroying righties and doing well against lefties. Imagine if we kept Hill? Sigh..

    If you told me Rogers would hold the Rangers to 1 run in 7 innings before this season started...

    I never quite understood the love with Profar. The best case scenario for him is a guy like Reyes'...Then again Reyes' was a #3 prospect. His prospect status is simply because he's a shortstop. If he wasn't a shortstop I doubt he'd be in the top 10 minor league rankings.

    Reyes has only played at 2B for 43 games (and hasn't done that since 2004) and has played only 7 games as a 3B all the way back when he was a 17-year old

    Profar's value comes from being a shortstop. Shortstop value > 2nd base. Unless we're shipping Reyes somewhere else, I don't see how this benefits us to be worthwhile.

    Of course they provide more value - but it's very hard to acquire good pitching. And I agree that we should put a preference on developing good pitching.

    We have a lot of amrchair GMs and scouts here who seem to know everything about mechanics & competition off videos from youtube. I remember how a few years ago people were s***ing on AA cause he wouldn't pick Josh Sale, a.k.a. the cheating, stripper-hating prospect. I don't care about the draft. As long as we get someone reasonable (like signing a 1st/2nd-rounder with our 1st pick). These guys have been following these players for months and interviewing friends and family on signability. They know a lot more than we do and bitching about pick x over y is just bitching for the sake of bitching
