    The ones I hate are the 5 gum commercials. They come up with some elaborate psy-techno ******** about how the taste of this gum is going to blow your senses away...annnnd it's like any other gum. Not sure why people still chew gum these days. Not only is it terrible for your teeth but there are much better breath-cleansers out there like Listerine mint strips.

    I.e. Brett Lawrie and Westjet. They can somehow come up with a situation that shows how far Brett Lawrie is going to go to help his team, just like how WestJet values customer service and will go above and beyond for you vs Brett Lawrie likes tatoos and WestJet does too ????

    They're awkward and stupid. What are they trying to get across? The Dickey one where he purchases Plus tickets is stupid. Why is Dickey mute? The Lawrie one is with the tattoo is awkward with Lawrie creeply giggling/smiling at the hottie.     Both Escobar and Rodriguez were ejected, though I'm pretty sure if they get suspended Maddon will request both of them to appeal since this is an important series for them.

    Re last night's brawl "After the game, Rays manager Joe Maddon correctly pointed out five-run leads aren’t exactly safe, even in the seventh inning, and his side did not object in last year’s ALDS when Jacoby Ellsbury stole second base with the Sox leading the Rays by the score of 8-2 in the eighth inning. “Our goal is to not permit them to score runs,” said the Rays’ skipper, who had his 700th Rays victory overshadowed. “Their goal is to score runs – the whole game. That’s always been the goal within the game of baseball. Apparently some of the guys on their bench did not like that.”"

    "I saw average stuff," McClendon said of Keuchel. "We didn't swing the bats very good. At some point you've got to stop giving credit to average pitchers. That becomes a broken record. At some point we've got to start swinging the bats." Keuchel is a pitcher for the Astros, who has better than average #'s. Interesting to hear those comments from a scrub manager.
