    Great deal for him, if I were him I wouldn't care what the MLBPA says. He gets security which in this climate I would say is way more important than risking millions. Or he could have done this deal because he's trying to find better quality weed. I wonder if he spends quality time in Colorado in the off season.

    I'm still a bit pessimistic. Yeah he has the best slider on the team (other than Santos). But his fastball is still straight and one that you can sit on and comfortably hit (since his release point is lower than other pitchers). I want to see Stroman master his change-up first before I can annoint him as stud status. I think he can contribute this year, but I think he has more room to grow and improve. We shall see how Stroman fares in a few months as there are more reports on him.
