    I guess to give him enough innings reps to recover from TJ. As a reliever he may not get enough reps? I dunno. I haven't taken a look at his repertoire yet but I guess if Drabek were to go in the bullpen he'd have to turn into FB/CH instead of FB/CB. If I recall he never threw his curve for strikes but rather as a chase pitch in the dirt.

    Multiple prospect rankings had him <30, as low as 14. You can't tell me all these scouts that watched him looked at the name rather than the stuff. Everyone knew Drabek had a great 2-seamer with movement as well as a superb spike curve. That's well enough to give him the prospect ranking he deserved. A 3rd plus pitch would have him great. But of course we know his downside was not stuff, it was command. If that were the case he would have at a minimum made a great reliever. Although with his latest outing with 0 K's, who knows what happened to him.

    Let's do it. Also allow a 48 hour negotiating window. Shields is durable and the kind of guy we could use to stabilize our back end. But he is a flyball pitcher so...

    Well I would definitely lump Francisco there in terms of luck, but he alone doesn't play an important role

    The article is pretty negative, talking about how everyone who is performing well will regress and those who suck right now will continue to suck and can't progress. That being said, this winning streak we have been very, very lucky and the back end of this rotation is still s*****.

    The rise of Jesus Christ (Norris) has made it easier to swallow losing Sanchez. Enough with your love for prospects, keep in mind it wasn't too long ago that everyone was in love with Drabek and how he could turn the corner. Yeah his stuff isn't close to Sanchez (but stilll pretty good on it's own) but look, no one is considering him at all on the 25-man in the near future.

    This can be the streak breaker. Liam Hendriks wasn't good at all in his previous start, and Archer can snap out of his mediocre performance and put a nice one together
