  1. I was going to suggest a splitter but I think his fastball already acts like one maybe a cutter?
  2. Why would you deal Bautista?
  3. John Lott ‏@LottOnBaseball 22s #BlueJays spokesman says Fla. doctors have Lawrie’s previous MRI for oblique injury, providing a “baseline” for comparison to today’s MRI. Looks like the source I posted above checks out
  4. front office obviously
  5. Well he is physically out of control + plays on turf
  6. Jenn @GTAchick78 · 1h I'm hearing that Brett Lawrie has suffered an oblique strain. Same as 2012. Could be out six weeks. #BlueJays Apparently this person also broke the Valencia trade, so take it for what it's worth... if it wasn't serious he wouldn't be going to Florida.
  7. OOOH SHIIIT september call up!
  8. what is wrong with Harper 52 games 700 OPS
  9. I know you guys are thinking it, but we have no chance.
  10. Yeah, Russell is what, a top 5? Sanchez is a top 30. Nolin and Lugo are nice add on pieces but they aren't top 100
  11. I wonder if angrioter is actually a buscone and also provides young DR's with supplements ;o
  12. I could see Benoit, Phillips and Balfour (roidrage) being users aaaaaaand this is how rumors start
  13. Gotta love fangraphs' analysis of Dunn as a pitcher: http://www.fangraphs.com/blogs/adam-dunn-as-a-pitcher/
  14. This is my arm-chair scouting report on him: Always look for the fastball, but only swing at pitches that come in high. Anything coming in at the knees will go towards you feet, and you'll swing through the top of it. Just wait for something high so that it ends up going down the plate, just like Davis' homer yesterday (although that fastball was a bit flat) _ I think if players are a bit more patient with Sanchez, he'll be his own worse enemy.
  15. That comment still amazes me to this day. I don't know what Dunn ever did to Jaypee, or how they ended up with that in their scouting reports. It was so out of the blue and unexpected. I do miss those Wednesdays with Jaypee though.
  16. Believe it or not Adam Dunn is in pretty select company He's 6th in the all-time list of most home runs by players who have also pitched The others? The Babe, Foxx, Musial, Williams, as well as the great Jose Canseco
  17. Interesting that Kemp was claimed by nobody, despite his torrid week that gave a flash of his old power hitting days.
  18. Even though the Sanchize s*** the bed yesterday in his 2nd inning of work, that 1st inning was insane, especially that fastball that moved like a backdoor slider to Jones' feet. I can see why AA wanted to hold on to him, cause if Sanchez could get any type of control he would be ace status.

  20. ...98 mph fastballs aren't supposed to move like that
  21. wtf Gibby manage your team why Sanchez and not Redmond?
