  1. Any signability concerns? He's 21, so that's a senior right? No leverage?
  2. Jeff Passan ‏@JeffPassan 2m2 minutes ago Blue Jays will take Missouri State RHP Jon Harris, who some thought might be a top 10 pick. Very good value for a polished fast mover. 16 retweets 1 favorite Reply Retweet16 Favorite1 More
  3. wouldn't you? I wonder what Vernon Wells looks like.

  5. http://andrewstoeten.com/2015/06/08/r-a-dickey-sees-himself-playing-elsewhere-in-the-future-prefers-the-national-league/ "Yeah, you know, I certainly am open going wherever — whoever wants me — but I do see myself pitching somewhere other than Toronto in the future"
  6. you got me there. 6 points higher. Arencibia has higher iso and a lower K rate. I guess they're practically similar, your point stands.
  7. I thought wRC does not take into account position, like WAR? It's pretty unfair to compare
  8. gotta be a vid of that somewhere? it's probably not as awkward as his pedo comment a few weeeks ago
  9. Actually I did make that joke, got banned, but posted under "sinasdf" for the next year or whatever.
  10. You wouldn't want JP Arencibia offense coupled with elite defense? I would gladly take that. No where close to Russell Martin capabilities but I think it would be somewhere along the lines of Bengie Molina.
  11. which makes it infuriating cause all he needs to do is hit as an average catcher and you got an all-star. heck, combine JP offense and Zunino defense and you got a pretty good player.
  12. Hells yeah it was a great alternative to the mlb forums. I think I posted there for a year or two? Earliest memory I can recall.. making a big deal about signing stud Justin Jackson lol. Then it went to s***, I went back to mlb forums to troll around until dogg turned that place to s***.
  13. lol I used to compile a huge list of quotes on stupid s*** that other posters used to say on bluejaysway.ca many, many years ago. I would pull that quote down the road and embarrass the poster. I would eventually get banned for that cause mods were sore losers. Shame that site got ruined. That site was actually run by Marc Hulet who is now a writer for fangraphs.
  14. Gather around kids, lets take a look back at the 2012 thread http://www.forums.mlb.com/discussions/Toronto_Blue_Jays/_/_/ml-bluejays/82452.1 Dinger - "I'm also a big fan of Zunino, who is a lock to stay at catcher and be an at least average hitter with good pop. There is McCann upside there, IMO. And at 21, he'll contribute soon." fatcow re Stroshow - ?"WOOO!!!!!!!!!! This kid is already* Tim Collins 2.0 and can surpass* Chris Sale 2.0" And there's a name I totally forgot about...Joel Carreno!
  15. That's largely generated from his defense/base running, and I just find it very difficult to picture a player having that good of defense/base running to overcome the putrid offense of a 56 wrc player. Could be another case of weakness in WAR calcs.
  16. So I didn't know that Billy Hamilton has been utter s*** this year and more like a 4th outfielder. 1.4 war but 56 wrc
  17. Yep, I'm just surprised someone could have that many HR and have a baaad ops. Was expecting .650 minimum
  18. 16 HR, .598 ops last year, wat
  19. Robert Murray ‏@RobertMurrayBBE 2h2 hours ago RHP Phil Bickford, a projected first round pick in the draft, tested positive for marijuana in a drug test, per @BaseballAmerica.
  20. Pujols should be to blame for those extra two runs. He went to 2nd on a grounder to 1st for the 2nd out. Instead he was safe and bases loaded 1 out
  21. I love it when the Boston media chew out their own team. http://espn.go.com/mlb/story/_/id/13015998/hanley-ramirez-pablo-sandoval-take-center-stage-boston-red-sox-debacle Also, Napoli is blaming his struggles on the pace of play rules http://www.bostonglobe.com/sports/2015/06/05/changing-nature-baseball-doesn-sit-well-with-mike-napoli/0It90e23NTxdWA7IUE2TxJ/story.html
  22. I think that is 8 straight losses?
  23. Suzuki with a massive derp http://mediadownloads.mlb.com/mlbam/2015/06/06/14-414467-2015-06-05/web_cut/mlbtv_146592983_1200K.mp4
