    I think it was just mutually agreed upon. The team is not going anywhere, get Avila used to GM activities. Dombrowski can take a break for the rest of the season and then entertain offers. I don't think the Jays will get him right now. They'll wait until the season is over out of respect to Beeston and then sign Dombrowski.

    If I were the Jays I'd get Sanchez to accept the suspension and then make him available for the Yankee series. It takes something like 5 days or so to get an appeal in, so you may end up with Sanchez being unavailable for 1-2 games in the Yankee series.

    Just shows that instigators get off free. Zero risk for them. Sanchez will probably appeal and it could be dropped to 1 game. No biggie. Just take advantage of his appearances.

    Is Shields good enough to replace Hutchison or Estrada? And if you were to claim Shields, do you demote players from the BP and weaken it? Do you demote Hutchison?

    Lance McCullers gets optioned to the minors after 1 horrid start. Probably to take advantage of resting him + utilizing his spot. But pretty low move to take advantage of the rosters like that.

    BTW a few people have noted that his original tweet was very personal and had a lot of slang. This response was more structured and professional. You can either read into that the response was created maturely and in a neutral mind set...or he didn't actually tweet it himself. Take it for what you want. We've seen him apologize before and repeat his same mistakes. Unfortunately won't know his true intentions until the ALCS.

    So this guy pulled up Dickey's velocity in his good/bad starts. Seems like Dickey has added 3 mph to his pitches. Either he fixed his mechanics or whatever injury he has is gone
