  1. I have no regrets, I wouldn't have minded Pablo. The guy had a good track record.
  2. funny how the year they finally have some good offense, their pitching betrays them.
  3. I also didn't realize how poorly Doug Fister has done this year with a career low GB % rate. I wonder if he'll do a 1 year contract in the offseason to rebuild value.
  4. Brandon Crawford having a quietly stellar year http://www.fangraphs.com/statss.aspx?playerid=5343&position=SS
  5. I absolutely do not want to resign Price. If I were forced to, I'd give him something like 5 years with a high AAV. Price is pretty much a two pitch pitcher. His cutter and curveball are negligible. His fastball is where he gets more of his value, but what happens a few years into his contract when he can no longer reach 97? What if his max is 92? You guys think he can still be effective there?
  6. Have faith in Goins!
  7. Ben Nicholson-Smith ‏@bnicholsonsmith 1m1 minute ago Toronto, Ontario #BlueJays still eyeing 4th OF, SP per AA on @FAN590: "The chances of us adding an OF are significantly greater than adding a starter" I guess this means that if they want Pompey up, he's going to be a full time OF or trade bait in off season.

  9. He's given up a bunch of homers to righties but against lefties he's still doing bad. Last year he had no problems with righties.
  10. The fact that he wasn't used a single time against the lefties that the Yankees have just shows that he should be the one who deserve to go down
  11. Jenn ‏@Baseball_Jenn 2m2 minutes ago Phoned to inquire about #BlueJays party suites now being sold on an individual ticket basis. Cost is $150/ticket. Includes food. Cash bar.
  12. I know we're getting ahead of ourselves, but suppose we end up winning the division and have a 5 game series. Who would you want to start the series - Dickey or Price? If you put Price in as the 1st starter, you get to use him twice in the series. However, if you put Dickey first, you can maximize the Dickey effect for the remainder of the series.
