  1. what, I assume his 4 seam and 2 seam are lumped together cause fangraphs doesn't account for the two. But he has a cutter but it's been inconsistent: http://www.fangraphs.com/statss.aspx?playerid=3184&position=P#pitchtype Doesn't change the fact that he heavily relies on his fastball and that's the pitch that loses its effectiveness the quickest
  2. As I mentioned elsewhere Price is someone that does not age well. This year he's a two pitch pitcher and you'd figure he has maybe 2-3 more years before he regresses and loses a lot of velocity on his FB, which is where he gets most of his value from. Sabathia and Price have a lot of similarities and look at where Sabathia is now. At age 32 he bombed and that was when his average FB dropped from 93-94 to 91. Now he's below 90 for the past two years. Can you imagine a David Price with a 90 mph fastball being effective? I don't.

  4. How AA acquired Donaldson: http://m.torontosun.com/2015/08/11/how-the-blue-jays-finally-convinced-the-athletics-to-trade-josh-donaldson There are new details here, like how he wanted to trade away Happ first and then slot Graveman in Happ's spot.
  5. Get your September tix guys. Early September against Cleveland and weekend series against Baltimore.

  9. At this rate the Cleveland series is going to be a sell out in early September. Glad I got row 1 infield seats for only $70 yesterday
  10. John Lott ‏@LottOnBaseball 4m4 minutes ago Paid attendance: 39,381.
  11. I watched his first inning and his fastball was pretty badly located. DP's helped too.
  12. lol Gibby zero confidence in Hutch. Then again he was pretty lucky.
  13. just got back, how were the reactions for Dany and Lawrie? who had the bigger one?
  14. Who was originally slated to pitch Sunday? Hutch?
  15. Shi Davidi ‏@ShiDavidi 40s40 seconds ago Clarifying: #BlueJays flipping RA Dickey and Mark Buehrle in rotation. Dickey goes tomorrow, Buehrle on Thursday. interesting
  16. That's what happens when you leave GM decisions to the manager
  17. If you want to mispell his name, at least do Tulowinski or Tulowinstreak
  18. You know what would really be funny? If his first start is against the Orioles and they immediately lay down a ton of bunts on him... on second thought, that's not funny.
  19. Well in that case he still didn't get any rest since it was a double header lol
  20. Graveman has been pretty inconsistent since we last faced him: https://ca.sports.yahoo.com/mlb/players/9821/
  21. Sit him out the entire series and get him prepped for NY
