I don't know who is pitching for the Yankees but I suppose we need Smoak in the line-up for defense.
But going forward Colabello needs to get at bats against lefties/righties as much as possible.
How about the big red flags lately, like Donaldson (probably tired), Osuna (probably tired but could probably stop using his fastball so much and rely on off speed) and Sanchez?
What has AA done to deserve a president's role? His team has been mediocre in the standings and one great second half of his walk year does not mean he deserves to be rewarded the moon.
If anything, at most, he deserves a multi year deal as a GM of a team, whether thats for the Jays or elsewhere.
He's going to need a lot more experience in order to get the President's role.
I'm excited for what Stroman can do in the post season.
I'm not feeling too good about the Boston series - they are reaaaaal hot offensively and Stroman is still in Spring Training mode. However I think he is going to be a better pitcher than Hutch/Buehrle and he will be at regular season mode when October hits.
for f*** sakes. If I had known they would be doing this I wouldn't have put down all my money on a strip
I presume this means sales are not doing well?
I felt the same way at first as well, but upon thinking, you would have to put the infielders back, at which point you expose yourself to Bourn's speed. So you have to play the infield in, which brings us back to square 1
At first I sided with Gibbons - Bourn is pretty fast, so hard to double him off.
But if you're playing infield in, it's not that hard to double off anyway.
