    what kind of s***** format is this. I want a 2016 calendar format. Would be nice to see if there are any extended stretches without breaks, or badly scheduled games (like going to Seattle, going to New York, then back to Oakland). Also, how our September schedule would look.

    Can you even use xFIP in one game? It was fluky because IRC the only hard hit contact we had was the two homers. One was a bad pitch to Bautista and the other was a real good pitch Tanaka made.

    Yes but the first one was early on in the season and we beat him good. The 2nd one was fluky and the 3rd was utter domination.

    I figure that each release they have closed off certain rows in all sections of the RC. Of course the original STH would have the most rows available to them. There's probably, for example, no more than 1 row available in the field level infield available to the general public.

    I think the Yankees have he harder schedule, only because they have to face the Mets. Other than that, both teams do not face another +.500 level team other than themselves.

    that really wasn't my point - my point is that I'd rather have my best pitcher used in a game that they are very likely to win. I don't have confidence in the Jays doing anything against Tanaka.

    if we are going to face Tanaka I'd like to throw our worst starter against him. Depending on who you ask, that could be Hutch/Buehrle and considering his dud performance yesterday (and him not likely being able to go past 5, Stroman)

    The guy has only had two outings against live action. There is no question that at his best, Stroman is right behind Price. But he's not at his best at the moment. He may need fine tuning. You guys expect him to be able to strike out 8 guys in 5 innings right away. Yeah he didn't have an arm injury, and he's been throwing since Spring, but we are clearly rushing.

    if you told me that in April I'd laugh at you for being so optimistic. At this point, that record is pessimistic.

    Boston is streaking, 7-3 in their last 10 games. They are still a threat to do some damage in this series. Thankfully the bullpen is utter s***.

    I honestly think Harvey has to come out and say he'll do whatever it takes to pitch into the playoffs. Otherwise there is no chance his goodwill will be restored and there will be calls to trade him away. Imagine how his teammates feel as well. I mean, just take a look at the comments:

    Guys the problem isn't that he wants to be healthy. It's his right. The problem is he's a hypocrite and he's been so late about it. He bitches and whines about 6-man rotations and being taken out early. And if this was such an issue for Harvey, he should have told them earlier in the season so that they could have done a better job of managing his innings. Imagine if we had the same deal with Stroman.
