  1. why a 4:00 start? Should be 3:00 so there is enough time to start game 2 at 7:00
  2. When we talk about AA and wanting character guys, we must not forgot it wasn't too long ago he called out one of his players publicly http://news.nationalpost.com/sports/mlb/toronto-blue-jays-gm-alex-anthopoulos-accuses-infielder-steve-tolleson-of-quitting-on-team
  3. resign, pick up option, same thing, yada yada, f*** you jk
  4. btw, we probably are going to need some serious depth in the rotation. If we go with Osuna and Stroman in the rotation next year, they will be on an innings limit. So we definitely need to resign Dickey.
  5. That's not the issue. If you had to choose, it's Martin/Thole or Martin/Navarro. This is because the Jays decided to have Martin catch Dickey. You need to give Martin rest anyways, so it was either have Martin catch Dickey and Navarro get one of the remaining four, or have Martin catch all 4 and Thole catch Dickey.
  6. I don't want Buehrle to be used in any situation other than mop-up in the playoffs, so thats why I would leave him off the roster. He doesn't do well against lefties either (nor does Loup, though).
  7. Wasn't he really pissed a few weeks ago (I think it was the Barves game) that he was taken out really early for a PH. He cut the interview short after the game - I always felt he was privately miffed.
  8. He isn't going to pitch 8 2/3 unless he dominates in the Tampa start. What will likely happen is they will try and push for 6-7 innings, and then have him pitch on Sunday out of the pen. He isn't going to make the playoff roster anyway.
  9. Section 113D, row 9, 2x tickets next to each other. I have tickets to game 1 and game 3 (if possible) for the ALDS. ALCS is undecided yet. I'll probably sell World Series tix too if we get there.
  10. Are we still going to do a subforum for playoff tickets or are we just going to post here and ppl post their bids/offers?
  11. I will start accepting bids with b/o tomorrow on my field infield level tickets (well more like outfield but who gives a fawk). I'm hoping they will go from $300-$500 CDN
  12. 1.) A new right fielder. Heyward would look nice, but may be out of our budget 2.) A new closer. I want Osuna in the rotation
  13. good osuna read from his time with vancity http://www.milb.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20150417&content_id=118903020&fext=.jsp&vkey=news_t435&sid=t435
  14. Boston will be a threat in 2016 but its not something we have to worry about right now.
  15. Bautista has come a long way. I remember it was April and I felt like Bautista was showing signs of big regression. By the end of May he only had 7 home runs!
  16. I have a strong feeling we'll see Cecil vs Davis tonight in the 9th inning
  17. drok you should charge more man! Don't forget USD-CDN exchange!
  18. we can't afford another outage, especially during the playoffs
  19. if I were buying tickets I'd buy the day that flex pack/season ticket holders get the tickets in their account manager.
  20. buy from here
  21. well we did expose their offense when they were here in Toronto, but granted at that time they have no Correa or Springer
  22. Baez still has potential. Insane bat speed. Not sure how he can't catch up on stuff.
  23. all you need is a warehouse unit, netting, pitching machines and some food and drink to sell.
