  1. Gibby, you already conceded this game by throwing in Hutch and the B lineup. Just admit defeat and prevent injury by forfeiting
  2. I bet Showalter is gonna think that was all intentional, ignoring all the rain and all
  3. just walk off the field and forfeit the game already
  4. We don't even have time for a make-up game...
  5. I feel bad that the A team has to watch this s*** show
  6. I tell him you were never supposed to be on the club and stick this long anyway http://www.bluejaysmessageboard.com/threads/4743-Collabello-Called-up?highlight=colabello+called
  7. have they done a shot of the dugout yet? anyone with the obvious hangover?
  8. both of them came up too late in the season http://www.fangraphs.com/leaders.aspx?pos=all&stats=bat&lg=al&qual=y&type=8&season=2015&month=0&season1=2015&ind=2&team=0&rost=&age=&filter=&players= Lindor is 4.6 in 421 AB Travis 2.3 in 238 AB Of course we could expect some regression but Travis would have put up some pretty amazing numbers at seasons end.
  9. I don't think anyone argues that Goins > Travis. Travis was on pace for a stellar RoY season. Goins is an excellent bench bat that could also start for an NL team. He's also someone you have no problems having +500 AB.
  10. strike out pitches usually get hitters to chase. This leads to a lot of wasted pitches. I think a groundball pitcher is a lot more efficient because he will always be in the strike zone and forces the hitters to swing.
  11. the thing is Goins passes the eye test. He has a great eye and he is taking pitches where they are thrown. look at that sexy spray chart: http://www.fangraphs.com/spraycharts.aspx?playerid=9807&position=2B&type=battedball&pid2=9807&ss1=2014&se1=2014&ss2=2015&se2=2015&cht1=hangtime&cht2=hittype&vs1=ALL&vs2=ALL
  12. You guys are still Ryan Goins non-believers?
  13. Give it 24 hours, it just got released. People will start unloading.
  14. FYI guys, the post season strip tickets have been released into your account if you bought them
  15. Tough s***, we can't do anything about it. Due to the doubleheader yesterday was not a rest day since the players still played game 1. Today is the actual rest day. As long as the Jays don't flop in Tampa we should be good.
  16. what impresses me the most about Stroman is that he is unlike a lot of young guys. He doesn't always want to go for the K. I fully believe that Stroman is capable of going 5 innings and striking out 14 guys. But he doesn't want that. He's very efficient and wants to give you innings. If he needs the K, he can try for it. He's a special player in that he's smart, exuberant, confident and very likeable.
  17. There was an interview not long ago that said that this is the reason why. let me find it http://news.nationalpost.com/sports/mlb/how-toronto-blue-jays-batting-coach-brook-jacoby-helped-transform-ryan-goins-into-a-productive-hitter
  18. lol JD is so wasted
  19. she kept saying "Hold on!! one second!!! in a very demanding and condescending tone"
  20. wtf is a bush party
  21. wtf is your problem hazel mae. You have no business making demands from players.
  22. omg pls I hope someone got that edwin soundbite
