    I never liked Randy Choate. He is a waste of a roster spot. The guy is obviously only effective against lefties, but I want someone who will at least have the chance to get a righty out.

    He had a great first half, then he got injured (I think it was the thumb after receiving a knuckler) and he played through it stubbornly. He has done a great job considering his age. We are fortunate he hasn't been deadweight at all.

    Floyd hasn't been an effective starter in a long time, is old, and has had his elbow shatter twice. I'm not sure why you think he can be an effective starter. Let alone, the guy is a FA and we have no reason to have any goodwill towards him. I will make sure to source you in my footnotes.

    If it ever reaches that point, which is a big if, I'd figure Hutchison would get the nod before Chavez. So in order for Chavez to be worth the trade, even to get to that opportunity, you'd need to have: 1.) Sanchez resort to competitive walks 2.) Floyd self destruct 3.) Hutchison have a 2nd mental breakdown
