    I don't think he's changed much. Hitters are more aggressive than usual in Spring Training. Walks will still be there, but slightly competitive in his own words.

    Steve Pearce in 2014 had even splits, so he could serve against the righties. He was a cheap option that had a great 2014 year that wasn't sustained by luck. His s***** 2015 was from ineffectiveness (for whatever reason) and injuries. Let's not forget he is versatile too. Napoli can handle lefties fine.

    I would have taken a shot at Mike Napoli even if almost double the cost of Smoak. Steve Pearce too

    Colabello in 2015 is probably the highest someone has ever over*achieved in MLB history. I think he'll be replacement level at best moving forward. We got lucky. Combine that with a mediocre player in Smoak and I'm not all that thrilled with 1B
