  1. holy s*** this colabello AB is long
  2. I think he's prime for comeback player
  3. Um Buck, Bautista trade is more lopsided..
  4. damn Hanley looks like he lost weight
  5. Martin must be getting tired of this s***
  6. You are now our english version of angrioter. Angrioter - Dominican scout and busconi spats - Florida scout
  7. I have a real bad feeling about Portobello this year. He'll end up losing time to Smoak, and when he does get in, he'll probably bat 7th.
  8. reminds me of a certain former Right handed pitcher the Jays had
  9. I dunno about his numbers being s***** in ST being that people are afraid of going after him. It's ST, and for a good portion of ST he didn't have any decent protection to begin with. It'll be interesting to see how it'll work in the season
  10. Who cares about the 2 roster spots for Dickey. You're going to need a backup catcher anyway, and their value is what, 0.5 war max?
  11. Our players will regress but it'll be made up by Tulo and Travis. I expect Pillar and Colabello (especially him) to fall off the face of the earth. Over
  12. If he stinks it up for April/May just like last year we can flip flop him with Tulo anyway.
  13. I'm pretty sure a year ago, no fangirl ever heard of Josh Donaldson (then again he was very underrated and a no name even with that good year) and they were crying about losing Lawrie. The tune changes quickly when they see monster dongers
  14. how embarrassing would it be if the roof started leaking mid game and the bubble deflates inward? They use the stadium for soccer, though, right? I assume they are doing proper maintenance year round.
  15. We'll probably have to end up trading them away. Kind of like Oakland. It really doesn't feel like management wants to operate on a huge payroll. That's why they brought in these Cleveland scrubs.
  16. I feel bad for him. When he started here he was a happy go lucky guy, always typing in exclamations and generally excited Then he became just as unsufferable as the rest of us and turned into big bad bouncey blue balls. Give him some attention, maybe massage his balls once in awhile
  17. gruber, thank you for sacrificing yourself to watch this dud game
  18. Eh, you can have not so sexy players who are drafted late and labeled as orgfillers/bench players Give them a chance and they may end up just as expected or worse, like Mike McCoy. Or maybe they end up like something better, like Kevin Pillar (although I do think he's still 4 OF material) Or maybe you end up with someone like Matt Carpenter...
  19. Sanchez is the 3rd starter? I thought that would be Happ
  20. Arnold Leon can go multiple innings, so if one of our starters completely shits the bed in the next week or so we won't have to burn many relievers this early on. I guess I can get on board with that. Tepera too, but I would have liked Venditte.
  21. Steve Simmons article on Atkins http://news.nationalpost.com/sports/mlb/toronto-blue-jays-general-manager-ross-atkins-is-a-difficult-man-to-pin-down
