    I didn't like Sanchez's curveball in his first game. It looks only effective against righties. Against lefties, the curveball is incredibly easy to see since it's 2-8.

    Lets hope that doesn't mean more in-game ads. The fake projected advertising in the batters eye and near the baselines are already too much.

    I followed the guy long before the dirt infield. He was extremely helpful in answering people's ticketing and stadium questions during last year's playoffs.

    I was able to snag section 122 (behind home plate), row 16 tickets x2 for $142 USD total for a game later this August. Awfully tough now to find better deals. 5 years ago I was able to get similar seats for something like $80 total. Also, if anyone is trying to get tickets for the Donaldson bobblehead game, prices are cheaper on stubhub than what it available on the Jays site.

    What's torture for me is if we are losing games where nothing is working. Pitching, offense, bullpen. There isn't anything to be excited about. If we get swept but have one or a combination of 1.) high scoring game 2.) good pitching then I can feel excited. But when the team is flat, I don't care and don't bother watching.

    "how challenging it is to uproot yourself, your family, sell your house and leave a team and city you've been in/with for 7-8 years" Those are valid distractions outside of the ballpark. I can't possibly believe that Tulo is thinking of that during an at bat. Also baseball is one of the less team-dependent sports out there. As a hitter, all Tulo needs to do is see the ball, hit the ball. As a fielder, see the ball, catch the ball. It's different between pitchers/catchers, but even that difference is only in terms of sequencing. I will give you that he has to adjust to the league, but the guy is a vet and I'm sure he's had AB against the seasoned veterans in this league and division. So much show that I expect regression, but not the type we saw with Tulo LY and TY.

    I'll give you that on Martin, but Tulo hasn't been good at all with the Jays. And I don't believe in all that mental betrayal ******** he was spewing. He wasn't good with Colorado before the trade either.

    Martin in his career has had several seasons near/below average. With his age it isn't far fetched to see him become a sub 100 wRC player again. Tulo last year was also very much average, which was also the start of a career low/high walk/K rate.

    You don't think it's absurd that Tulo, let alone Martin (who is overdue) experience severe offensive regression that they become expensive defensive players?

    The Orioles started off against the Twinkies, I'm not at all threatened by them.
