Until today Springer was hitting .200 the last 30 days with minimal power and a busted elbow and it would theoretically keep Vlad out of GIDP situations people complain about...won't happen, but not a terrible idea based on the theory

It won't happen but I wonder what it would look like if we hit Vlad leadoff sometimes. Makes pitchers give him an AB with fastballs to start the game or they have to immediately start using offspeed pitches which most SP don't like to do

Vlad easily. Half the games this month have been vs TB and Vlad has a higher OPS the last 30 days still

I will say the most promising thing is, Vlad is 1 of only 7 players with 30+ HRs and 30+ 2Bs. The only AL player and in the toughest division in baseball

It goes back to last year. I'd bet Vlad is the worst vs TB compared to how he is vs every other team. They are so disciplined with their command and use of of offspeed pitches. He has only 1 career HR in this park as well

Vlad 1 and Bo 4 and everyone else is above 10 GIDPs. Way too many on the season
