    I get that it might not actually help but it won't hurt to give him a start imo. Maybe we can get lucky and he hits like he was suppose to last year.

    I'm sorry but projections are a bunch of bs imo. Did the projections have our offense falling off a cliff against AAA pitchers...no. I'd take .270 with all singles over the offense we are seeing.

    In 3 of Syndergaard last 6 games he hasn't gone 6 innings and struck put less than 8...vs AZ twice and Cinci....just saying. It's a great game so far from Stroman. 8 Ks and only 2 runs given up.

    What I find funny is the team just can't hit.....yet Pompey still can't get 1 start!

    Tulo just took 95 right down the middle first pitch...can't get a better pitch to hit....then grounds out

    If your talking about that pitch inside....the whole team does it. Everyone swings at insane inside pitches.

    I think it really has a lot to do with allowing all of the hitters to come up with their game plan at the plate for every game by themselves. Hitting coach needs to actually step in at this point.

    Every double play hit into the hitter should do 100 pushups on before they go back into the field...

    Wonder why they haven't put him at DH a few games and play Goins or Barney in the field. Gives Travis a mental break for a game or two and Goins/ Barney can't be worse than Smoak in the lineup.

    That play can be expected though. The ball was smashed and took a hard hop. He has generally been fine fielding the ball. The throwing has been what I think gets him more often then not on his errors.

    It's higher at 9th I think because he hit there when he was going crazy hot to start last season. This year though it could be leadoff...not sure.
