    Because in order to have a good offense, you can't rely on HRs. There was a stat last year that only 2 teams? Have won a world series when they lead MLB in homeruns.

    You also bunt with a player if said player can't buy a hit off of anyone...not because of bad luck but because they are in a 2 month dumpster fire.

    Not since the AllStar break. I think we maybe be bottom 5 since then in terms of offense. Bullpen has been shaky but when they have to hold teams under 3 runs it will always look shaky. Offense has been our downfall this season as much as it carried us last season.

    2 months is not a bad slump...its reality.

    Inflated by a great 2 month stretch. Our offense since the Allstar break is better indication of our current offense....which is puke EDIT: Plus the league has adjusted to some players (Saunders) and age has eaten others (Bautista and Martin)...while others have just plain been avoided by other teams (Edwin and Donaldson).
