Casey doesn't coach offense, so it's not like Vasquez is working with a lot

Taking nothing away from James, he's insanely talented, but it must be nice to know you only have to play with minimal effort and you'll get very foul call to go your way

Observations from today's game: Jays hitters were very poorly disciplined and did everything Price wanted them too. Instead of taking close pitches off the plate, they were swinging at them, while leaving the meatballs and making s*** contact, or right through them. 8 walks from the starting pitching... Pretty much says it all regarding the pitching staff. Nice to see our lack of bench depth being needed on the field in the first inning of the year. wtf Edwin? Wtf Jeffress? Ah Dickey... Only would the Jays trade bigtime pieces for a near-40 trick pitcher thinking it was a good idea. But but but.. Cy Young Winner!!! Gonna be a long year -

I get the result of that play was good since Lowry hit the three but.... Amir rebounded that under the hoop and the was nobody within 5 feet, why didn't he just take 1 step and throw down an easy 2?

Hayes, fields, Novak, Vasquez and Salmons on the floor... This is like player 6, 9, 10, 11 and 12 on the depth chart and Casey is wondering why the lead is now down to a 2 possession game .... This is egregious

There's always runs, but there's no reason to let a 21 point lead drop to 8 in one quarter because your coach puts the 5 worst players on the floor at the same time. Casey's rotations are just mind boggling, keep 3 starters, 2 bench guys, then rotate a starter and a bench guy back in every so often and you never end up with 5 completely useless players on at one time, and your starters stay fresh-ish and don't have to play 40 minutes

With a new stadium and better location, I don't think there's a lot of doubt that a team in Montreal would work just fine. But it's not happening anytime soon.
