  1. Hansbrough hacked again, no call. Just garbage. It actually took a Guy tackling Johnson for a foul call. Another f***ing tackle by Mohammed on Hansbrough.. Jesus get that clown out of the game. Yet they give a double technical? Hansbrough gets a tech for getting tackled. Were I Hansbrough I'd lay the guy out next time down the floor.
  2. Not sure how that was a block on Johnson...feet were planted for a full 2 seconds outside the restricted area and Boozer just runs over him... Refs must have the Bulls on their pro-line tonight. Lowry is getting pushed and shoved every trip down the floor, getting absolutely mauled and he can't get a call. Not to excuse the bad play of the Raptors, but the reffing is terrible tonight too. Leo Rautins needs to shut up, hustle doesn't give teams the right to throw body checks and not get called.
  3. Boozer and Noah are pushing their way into the paint and Patterson and JV are just playing soft. Huge domination inside by the Bulls right now.
  4. Yup. Raps on the second half of a back to back and Chicago is a better team than they get credit for
  5. As it stands now, he would actually be the team's emergency catcher if the other 2 were hurt in a single game. I almost want that to happen just to see it TBH
  6. "2. Morrow ... he is not an ace. 3. Dickey .... he'd be even more effective following Morrow" From that other thread.... what the s***? There's a Morrow effect????
  7. Where was the sportsmanship and integrity clause for that HoF vote?
  8. You forgot "AA pulls head out of Beeston's ass and remembers to improve team"
  9. They were top 10 last year in both pen and offense. They need better than bottom 5 rotation or being top 10 again in the pen and offense won't mean jack.
  10. I actually believe AA when he says the money is there if he asks for it, but clearly he is very rarely asking for it.
  11. There's just no defending not being able to beat that deal. Another situation where AA's valuations probably didn't come close to reality. Guaranteed Jiminez takes would take 4/52 and come to the Jays. Even if it took 4/60, while harder to swallow, it would have been defensible. Probably was offering 3/30 or some garbage
  12. Why is it realistic to expect the worst case scenarios on every player? I agree with everything you said about each situation as being possible, but there's also the other side of the each coin. In no way am I sitting here saying every situation will be the best case, but To think that every single thing that you mentioned will happen is just blind pessimism without a base in reality.
  13. Something did go wrong if Goins is left to play and ends up a below average player. The decision making in the FO would have went horribly wrong.
  14. I doubt Redmond would fetch that much, but if you could get it, by all means.
  15. Well it was posted on twitter yesterday... when it was the 16th...
  16. Can't sell 'em all, nor should you. Also consider the changing landscape of baseball and teams realizing how much value young players have, trades of key pieces don't quite get the same returns these days, unless you're trading with Alex or Dayton Moore.
  17. It's technically not language against a qualifying offer, it just means that Philly won't ever have the option to offer one for next season based on the mutual/player option. If Selig saw language that specifically said a QO couldn't be offered, he would nix the contract. This is just a creative way around it
  18. Basically, he's not retiring, so the Red Sox can place him on the restricted list rather than the DL, meaning they don't have to pay him this year. He was on MLB network radio today and he explained that his neck is really f***ing with him right now, so he knew he couldn't start and rather than maybe be effective as a reliever, he went this route to give it a full year to heal
  19. Minor league deal with invite to spring training. Would be a great guy coming off the bench as a pinch runner, multiple defensive uses. Used correctly, would probably be a positive asset.
  20. AA: "We're still trying to sign a starter" Three words....f***ing try harder!
  21. Nice bail out by the refs there for Atlanta... Should be a 3 point game but they hand Atlanta 2 free throws on a brutal call I guess the plus here is that was one of the worst quarters I've seen this year and they're only down by 5. Problem is, the second unit is going to be in the game and they can't score for s*** right now.
  22. Raps getting raped off the dribble tonight, so many blow-bys
