  1. I don't either. It's too bad he'll spend half the year on the DL again next year for his inevitable back strain. A healthy Lin platooned with Valencia has a good chance at being decent, I think we've gone over that in the offseason thread. The key is keeping Lind and Lawrie healthy so Valencia doesn't get exposed to RHP to much.
  2. Fixed that for you.
  3. All depends on the waiver process, you know this. Whether Janssen or Rasmus have been placed on, and subsequently cleared waivers hasn't been made public. And if they were claimed, if the claiming team isn't offering anything other than cash or some D prospect, trading them doesn't make sense. I mean you could argue that a D prospect or cash is better than nothing when they walk in free agency, but it's so marginally infinitesimally better it's not really something you need to make a priority
  4. Yup. No excuse for this.
  5. Having spent a decent amount of time in both Seattle and San Francisco, both are amazing. The traffic in SF is worse, but also way more fun with the hills. And if you like people-watching, San Fran wins hands down, there's freaks everywhere, but any weirdos I talked too seemed like really nice people. it's also expensive as f*** though. Seattle is definitely cheaper, still really nice and I find the traffic really easy. Lots of bridges and tolls though but the scenery is great.
  6. I'd like to see Pompey get more than 600 PA above AA before he even sniffs the majors. September call up next year at the earliest unless he's on so much fire that he forces their hand.
  7. At least Dickey had a mindset, I don't think Lind's qualifies.
  8. That's why cozart is ranked higher than. That many more routine plays would outrank the 14 harder ones. People need to remember these rankings aren't absolute. They're just saying that these guys are having great defensive seasons, based on a set of certainly imprecise measures, of which cozart has had more chances and not made mistakes. They don't mean cozart is the best defensive SS.
  9. What's the difference on each players # of defensive chances this year? That would probably explain the rankings
  10. He ain't lying. A sacrifice like that is exactly what's needed to right the Jays' ship. Do it King. Take one for the team.
  11. f***s sakes man... Delete that s***
  12. If you had sex with her, you would probably have been declared missing.
  13. A super moderator... Clearly
  14. If you've ever seen her, you wouldn't be bragging about it. She's the size of a Volkswagen
  15. He wouldn't have anything to say otherwise.
  16. Mexicans don't fix anything.
  17. No Ken, you probably shouldn't. But I'm just saying that knowing your tech level
  18. To advanced for Buck. Stone and chisel
  19. Why would the Angels claim Buehrle when they already passed on Colon who is way cheaper?
  20. Give him a break, he's played what 10 games in a row now? It's about time for a back strain
  21. Buck went home last night and probably took a bat to his Commodore 64
  22. Yup. Kawasaki's defensive instincts are being ruined by making plays like that.
  23. Hope gibbons has some arms warming up.
  24. Might be a short term platoon with Pompey knocking of the door.
