    Not bad, but there's 0 chance Donaldson jumps to 20 million from 4.3 this year. He'll get paid, but a jump like that in arbitration is unheard of.

    I think it's incredibly important for the team not to become the Phillies of the north, with more than their share of aging declining players on brutal contracts. And with Martin, Tulo already locked up, unless both Edwin and Jose take below market deals, thats exactly where they are headed.

    Yeah, but the argument you'll hear in his defense is Price was still at an amazing pitch count for the 7th inning, obviously wasn't tired, he's your ace, 18 straight retired... etc etc etc. It's the playoffs, you should have your relievers up in the 7th inning regardless of how good your starter has looked. The margin of error is just too small. Why couldn't he have both Sanchez and Loup up to match against lefty righty if he wanted too? That's not to excuse goins and him s***ing the bed on the pop up, but u have to be ready to stop the bleeding before it turns into a hemorrhage

    It's a small error by Estrada by not gojng to the 3b side of the runner, but it's not unforgiveable. Main job is to get the lead runner out.
