Yeah, but the argument you'll hear in his defense is Price was still at an amazing pitch count for the 7th inning, obviously wasn't tired, he's your ace, 18 straight retired... etc etc etc.
It's the playoffs, you should have your relievers up in the 7th inning regardless of how good your starter has looked. The margin of error is just too small. Why couldn't he have both Sanchez and Loup up to match against lefty righty if he wanted too?
That's not to excuse goins and him s***ing the bed on the pop up, but u have to be ready to stop the bleeding before it turns into a hemorrhage
