    The answer is still incredibly simple, when it goes to replay, the replay officials simply review the play and make the call as to what they see, completely ignoring what the umpires call was. If its definitive, they make the call. If its inconclusive, the call goes to the offense. Ignoring the call on the field eliminates this issue. It will never happen, but that's the solution. And secondly, have a the umpire make a quick clarification announcement like the refs in football or hockey do.

    I doubt we see him more than 1 start per series even getting to world series. He'll be game 3 in the DS then game 4 in each of the following 2 assuming they make it that far. I strongly suspect Liriano will be his handcuff

    I can't remember where I heard it(I think mlb network radio) but it was said that they do not want Sanchez going much past 200 innings including the playoffs. Pretty much means he's good for about 3 more starts at 4-5 innings per start, or 1 start per remaining round at best, and he'll be on a short leash in any case. That would put him around 204-207 innings after only 92.1 last year.
