  1. Costco all beef hot dogs with smoked gouda and chopped pickled peppers. Heaven on a bun
  2. It's a gdt worthy of the jays start to the season.
  3. Game 8: Bautista (2 Pts)- baseballsss Donaldson (2 Pts)- LetTheBallFly Morales (3 pts)- Tulo (4 Pts)- Condor13, johnhavok Martin (4 Pts)- Smoak (5 Pts)- P2F Pearce (5 Pts)- Travis (6 Pts)- Pillar (7 Pts)- Barney (9 Pts)- Carerra (9 Pts)- Goins (9 Pts)- Bench (10 Pts)- Jays4life19
  4. Pearce to LF please. Smoak out the would be so big an abomination the comissioner would probably step in.
  5. Look at the bright side. We could be in for 1 great big helluva fire sale in July.
  6. Seems like a 50/50 proposition.
  7. That cat needs a drink. Hope she got some water
  8. And he can give you multiple innings out of the pen if you need him to. Gee pat, you know who else gives you multiple Innings? STARTING f***ING PITCHERS
  9. It's a good thing Martin is a good defensive catcher because his days of being a useful bat are ooooooooover
  10. Bichette getting a day off already? Must not be very durable. Org guy....
  11. I personally don't care how bat gets to ball, as long as it's there at the right time and gets good contact. Theres always room for exceptions to the conventional swing
  12. Looks a bit long, probably needs to quiet his hands down a bit to be a little more direct to the ball. It's fixable
  13. Can you link me some video of his swings so far this year? I didn't see much of ST and i'd like to take a look and see what you're referring to.
  14. I understand to a point, and yes it would be nice if a few of those singles were doubles or a triple or a homer. But stating that there's no pop in the bat based on 15 PAs is just gruber-esque.
  15. There's plenty of pop in the bat. People need to stop making small sample size proclamations like this one , and the other popular one I've seen lately that he needs to be a better base stealer. Theres nothing wrong with his start to the season so far at all.
  16. I think the real concern with Bichette is how his weird swing will translate to the upper minors. Theres no way to know yet and lots of time for things to change.

Habs or Rangers - Habs Penguins or Blue Jackets - Penguins Capitals or Leafs - Caps Sens or Bruins - Sens Chicago or Preds - Chicago Wild or Blues - Blues Oilers or Sharks - Oilers Flames or Ducks - Ducks Best chances of a 7 game series - Habs/Rangers, really a toss up in this series. Price versus the Rangers depth. Best chance of a sweep - Caps over Leafs. Sorry, but you know it's true. I don't think it will happen, but it's got a decent chance. Best chance of an upset - Sharks over Oilers. Everything on paper favors the Oilers, but the intangibles of experience versus youth might be a big factor.
  18. Helluva final round. Watching that final pairing all day was awesome
  19. Excellent start for Sergio on his final round. Now a 2 shot lead through 3

So... Calder trophy... Really only 3 names should be in the conversation imo. Matthews, Laine and Matt Murray(this guy is getting criminally underrated in his rookie season). Who takes it? I always find it hard to rate goalies against skaters in awards like this, and I'd probably give the edge to Matthews over Laine since their stats are close enough to be a wash, given Laine lost some games due to injury. Matthews being a centre and basically being the focal point of their team the entire season as a rookie gives him the edge there imo. But Matthews vs Murray... how do you really compare and contrast the 2 when they play such drastically different positions? Am I over rating Murray because he plays on one of the best teams in the league?
  21. Game 6: Bautista (2 Pts)-o2, Pendleton, Condor13 Donaldson (2 Pts)- LetTheBallFly, Dylan, johnhavok Morales (3 pts)- baseballsss Tulo (4 Pts)- Martin (4 Pts)- Smoak (5 Pts)- Pearce (5 Pts)- Travis (6 Pts)- Pillar (7 Pts)- jfl19 Barney (9 Pts)- Carerra (9 Pts)- Goins (9 Pts)- Bench (10 Pts)-
  22. Derozan isn't really the engine of the team, it's Lowry. Heaving the most 2 point shots in the league will get you points, and it's useful in the regular season, but when your game is centered around mid range shooting and getting to the free throw line, your game tends to suffer when the whistles get put away in the playoffs. Agree that adding Ibaka will give the other teams something to think about, but realistically this teams success is on Lowry, not Derozan.
  23. 64 SB and 17 CS (79% success) in what amounts to not even 1.5 seasons of PAs in the minors isn't bad given his injuries. His speed is fine, just needs more experience reading the pitchers for his jumps. That's what the minors are for.
  24. Game 5: Bautista (2 Pts)- baseballsss Donaldson (2 Pts)- Pendleton Morales (3 pts)- JFL19, Angrioter, johnhavok Tulo (4 Pts)- saskjayfan Martin (4 Pts)- Condor13 Smoak (5 Pts)- o2 Pearce (5 Pts)- P2F Travis (6 Pts)- Spanky, LetTheBallFly Pillar (7 Pts)- Barney (9 Pts)- Carerra (9 Pts)- Goins (9 Pts)- Bench (10 Pts)- Double points today
  25. I'm getting some great pictures from the radio feed. Crystal clear
