    Uh.. yes babip is still a thing no matter what level you play at. Trout in his best low level minor league seasons sat at .420. .450 is unreal.

    Bo is carrying a .450 babip right now. After a few months you have to think that's going to regress, no matter what his bat to ball skills are.

    There's a few that are quite intelligent, but I'd be willing to wager the majority are below average, not like drooling muppet dumb, but just below average. Many of these kids are in sports programs so early they get cakewalked through high school and college.

    IMO, if it were necessary to move travis to accommodate Bo, then Travis would be going to LF.... or just traded.

    I don't know about that. Usually, if someone moves off SS at a really early age, if they have a good arm and bat, they'd be moving to 3B before 2b. The fact that Travis plays 2b now, let alone the fact that he never even played SS in pro ball means they probably knew really early on he doesn't have the arm for either 3B or SS.

    Yeah they're saying there's history with these 2 guys from the playoffs a few years ago. 2 outs... bottom of the 8th and down by 2... and square in the hip. Yup, probably as intentional as it gets. Strickland was all kinds of pissed. Took 3 Giants to haul him off the field and he wasnt going quietly

    Yeah... entire regular season and postseason to get to the same finals yet again.... that everyone knew was happening. I wonder if this is what the NBA foresaw when they made the changes to contracts alowing teams to resign their own players for way more money than others, without the salary cap penalties etc.

    Danny Jansen's first week in AA has gone okay... .429 / .500 / .619 with 2 walks, 2 Ks. 9 for 21 with 4 doubles.

    Robles is the highest ceiling in that org but yeah Soto is definitely one to watch.

    I think targeting arms isnt efficient. Their bust ratio and injury risk really makes them volatile and less reliable. Position players are the way to go when building your core imo. And if you run into a scenario where you have multiple guys at 1 position, either move them to another one or use the dupe as trade bait for arms.

    Estrada is such a weird case though, in every start as a finesse flyball pitcher, especially against a homer happy club in a band box park, he's 3 slightly missed locations away from giving up 3 bombs and 8 runs. Today was obviously not that start and good on those who picked him.

    I disagree with your percentages based on the reasons I listed above. It wasn't a 90% success type of play. 50% at best given Joseph didn't have to go far and the ball was heading towards 3rd making the throw shorter. Had the ball bounced off towards 1st Base instead... easily safe.
