  1. Thanks as always for the first hand info. If I could put 100 thanks on each post i would.
  2. The one difference is that he's 16, rather than a college age guy getting good results while being under 6 feet. Even if these not much height projection left, there's still the normal filling out that kids do between 16 and their mid 20s that will add to his velo. I wouldn't be scared to sign this kid at all.
  3. http://www.fangraphs.com/blogs/the-black-swan-theory-of-drafting-pitchers/ Just change the word drafting to signing. .. Same principle. also, at 5'9 he's already taller than the average brazilian male adult by about an inch. Maybe that's why some might think there's not much height projection left.
  4. DOUBLE POINTS SATURDAY Bautista (2 Pts)- Donaldson (2 Pts)- Morales (3 pts)- Tulo (4 Pts)- Martin (4 Pts)- Smoak (5 Pts)- Pearce (5 Pts)- Travis (6 Pts)-johnhavok Pillar (7 Pts)-o2 Barney (9 Pts)- Carerra (9 Pts)- Goins (9 Pts)- Coghlan (6 Pts)- Maile (9 Pts)- Bench/Pitcher (10 Pts)
  5. Black Swan and he's Brazilian. Interesting.
  6. Lowry can work as part of the solution. Derozan cannot. Lowry can defend, pass, shoot the 3, run and handle the ball very well. Exactly what your PG needs to do in the NBA today. His one knock is the injury bug. Derozan can do .. 1 of those things.
  7. I guess it's official. Pillar sold his soul in the offseason
  8. Cavs are that good. Raps are an inferior team to the Cavs in every aspect of the game. But they do have enough talent to beat other bottom feeders and mid level teams. They just get exposed against teams with multiple highly skilled players. They're a really good team but will never be elite as they are constructed right now. As long as Derozan is "the man", this team will never win. He's way too 1 dimensional.

I remember the booing, but I don't ever remember hearing that they sang it later. That was 10 years ago so it's possible I don't remember. Us old guys have memory lapses now and again
  11. Rafael Devers. And hes raking AA right now as a 20 year old. It wouldnt be very shocking to see him up after the mystical moving Super 2 line, but I really don't think they'll be that agressive. His 78 PA at AA this year are his first taste above Advanced A. It probably would make more sense to grab a cheap, really good defender and not worry too much about the offense until they feel Devers is ready
  12. I agree, but as you know it usually comes down to BPA who's willing to sign. Every year you have lists of HS guys that tell teams they wont sign unless its top 5 money because they think they can go higher in 2 years.
  13. Rafael Devers. Very soon
  14. Shoulder surgeries yes, but I've never heard of him getting a concussion.
  15. Get smith out of there, he's really f***ing up my fantasy ratios now
  16. I'd settle for the same strike zone for everyone regardless of playing tenure
  17. I don't think they're junk, theyre just not on Cleveland's level. And they never will be with Derozan as the main guy. The Raps have peaked as they are currently constructed. A really good team that isn't elite, or even great. Just really good.
  18. Derozan is a chump
  19. Judge has the perfect size. He can stand far enough away from the plate because of his size that anything that would be in on his hands would be a ball, and he can reach anything on the outer half easily. And Buck, shut the f*** up. That ball was on the inside corner, not over the middle.
  20. f*** sakes, I was totally taking Pearce tonight. ...
  21. He was on the DL between the 17th and 27th for some reason though.
  22. I think he just came back from injury. Maybe a pitch count? Edit. Nope 45 pitches. Probably an aggravation of injury
