  1. Yeah, his babip on grounders is like ... .580. Insane batted ball luck for him right now. Case and point was that last one that went for a double, it only went for a hit because the 1b was holding Tulo on. Any other position by the 1b and its a double play
  2. .538 babip prior to tonight's game, so... yeah
  3. Pillar is this year's Pillar. Not a single pitch in the zone in that AB... swung at 3 out of 4
  4. Their meltdowns are always fun to read, especially when real life celebrity Roy Firestone stops by
  5. I dunno. ... 0 for 9, they're clearly struggling with the level they are at
  6. Vancouver also added 6 2017 draftees to their roster http://theprovince.com/sports/baseball/vancouver-canadians-add-six-players-from-blue-jays-draft-class-including-clemens-kid Kacy Clemens (8th), Riley Adams (3rd), Cullen Large (5th), Brock Lundquist (5th), Donnie Sellers (11th), and Matt Shannon (12th)
  7. 2017 4th round pick Kevin Smith was assigned to Bluefield MC Gregory Contreras as well. Yorman Rodriguez also reassigned from Vancouver to Bluefield 2017 draftees Tanner Kirwer (20th round), Brandon Polizzi (35th) and Ryan Noda(15th) also there along with Jordan Barret (18th), Colton Laws (7th), Zach Logue (9th), Graham Spraker (31st), Ty Tice (16th), and Reilly Johnson (30th),
  8. Gibbons hit Pillar leadoff for nearly 3 months. That should eliminate him from the top 29 right there
  9. Well.. given that he never should have been there in the first place... it's hard to give him credit for moving him out. Even in his best month with the bat which was April his OBP topped out at .339.
  10. Biagini gives up 1.5 runs in the bottom of the 1st . Over/under ?
  11. Holy s***. Batting around in the top of the 1st....
  12. Man does Devlin suck at calling baseball...lol Good job offense!
  13. I dispute the word dirty... I don't think it was malicious. Reckless would be my description
  14. No, you are technically right that a runner is not required to avoid contact... but the catcher has to be blocking the plate or blocking the runners path to the plate in order for contact to be allowed. If the catcher isn't blocking the plate or the path... no contact is allowed. Not sure what is confusing about that Rizzo changed direction from his clear path on the outside of the baselind in order to collide with Hedges, who was on the inside of the baseline.
  15. Hedges wasn't even blocking the plate, so I'm not sure how it could be argued that he was in the way. Hedges was on the inside of the baseline the entire time and Rizzo changed direction to hit him when he had a clear path to the plate. Rizzo is 100% at fault IMO
  16. Wow, that sound off the bat....
  17. And right on cue.... lead given up when he should obviously been lifted and THEN gets taken out.... good job Gibby
  18. Can't do it, gotta wait for him to give up the lead before you hook him. That's the Gibbons way
  19. It's easy to sat that, but when your SP has consistently not gone deep, he's probably had to use every reliever more than he's wanted to, aside from Osuna
  20. Until the starting pitching can be relied upon for 6 innings more often than not, we probably get a 3 man bench
  21. And Farmer gives up 2 in the 1st... awesome start
  22. RAY will crush the Phils, I just thought he was too expensive.
