    No kidding. For a guy who was brought in with no thought of being anything other than rookie ball roster filler, the fact that he's still a starter, at AAA, after serving 2 years in the armed forces and with all that development time lost... is amazing.

    Yeah, alot of defensive metrics are somewhat luck and opportunity dependant. Small sample size defensive numbers are basically useless.

    True, but the course itself isn't even that hard. It's got the same slope rating as the Taber golf club I'm playing tomorrow. And Taber has 5,000 people in the middle of southern alberta

    Can't believe the cut line was -3 ... might need to toughen that course up a tick. I know it's the week after The Open so they don't want to go nuts, but let's make it at least a bit more challenging.
