  1. picking locked Bo goes deep to nobodies satisfaction Chappy goes yard! for no points.

  3. Lol, look what I found…then he claps,like it wasn’t complete fluke…lol
  4. Just get on for Biggio…he’ll walk it off
  5. That was the kind of pitch CHappy was crushing early in the season…dang
  6. Unless the offense scores 7 …yeah probably
  7. Pitches 4 and 5 were both strikes. Ump f***ed him
  8. Especially Vlad. For a guy who obviously enjoys junk food he sure doesn’t seem ready for cookies.
  9. He has 2 hits, in 4 AB with runners on 3b and 1 out so far this season prior to that PA. League average split on that doesn’t exist that I can find.
  10. With runners on 3rd and 1 out this year he was 2 for 4 prior to that PA.
  11. Damn, like 5 feet from 6 points in the Hr contest….nice rip!
  12. wonder what Vlad would fetch on the trade market in the offseason...
  13. What a weird set of PAs - it was like he was alternating pitches from terrible... to kinda good... to terrible again.
  14. Be lucky to get Manoah through 4 tonight - just hope he can avoid the damage until he gets there.
  15. Miller bailed him out by swigning at trash. Good stuff.
  16. 4 out of 4 fastballs high and wide, he's under everything.
  17. Nope, got the bad Manoah again. This is gonna be a long night pitching wise.
  18. again... league average bat for a catcher is well above the norm for catchers. Compare him against other catchers, not outfielders and slugging corner IFs. I agree his offensive profile doesnt jump off the page at first glance, but there's more than enough defense there to get him into the hall, even if he didn't hit like Posey.
  19. Why not? Exceptional defense and well above average bat for a catcher. Gotta compare him to other catchers, not other positions.
  20. looks like pretty definitive mechanical problems if his pacing is all messed up. I don't really buy the pitch clock as a reason though, since in 2023 he's not actually rushing his delivery, it's slower and out of sync and it's readily apparent from the first pitch of the game when fatigue and pitch clocks arent an issue. The good news is it should be fixable
  21. He;s only thrown 1 game at the RC and got his tits lit. gave up 5 runs on 7 hits (1 single, 1 double and 4 HRs) and 2 walks. Must have been a while ago though, as no current Jays have really faced him. Belt, Chapman, Varsho, Merrifield and KK are the only guys to have faced him... Belt 2 HRs in 20 AB while also hitting .400 - Chappy is 2 for 2 with 2 HR. Varsho is 1 for 1 with a HR, Kiermaier 1 for 2, Merrifield 1 for 5.
