  1. Ya I really expected much more from Ramon Ortiz, Chien Ming Wang, Mike Redmond and Aaron Laffey....
  2. Really?? So it's the players fault that Beeston prematurely promised 3 playoff appearances in 5 year a few off-seasons ago and then decided to go for it after a 73 win season with basically no pitching depth and holes all over the field???
  3. I'm sure switching to a new position mid-season will really help his hitting:rolleyes:
  4. How is this f***ing guy expected to pitch in the cold days of October (I know, a pipe dream for this team) when he can't even be relied on to pitch against a division rival in the middle of the July?? Can't believe so many people were stupid enough to defend this trade at the time... SMH
  5. At least Escobar wasn't a complete liability!
  6. Freedom of speech??? Come on man. It's pretty obvious that JP can't handle the criticism and, like a child, is taking personal shots at people when it's not necessary or appropriate. I don't know why you feel the need to spin this into something that it's not.
  7. So just because what he's saying might be true, he has the right to take personal shots at people who are paid to critic his game?? I've listened to most of Zaun's and Hayhurst's criticism of JP and they didn't say anything negative about him personally... in fact, they said some nice things about him and called him very personable and talented, but that his game needs a lot of work. Nothing personal. So, what the f*** are you talking about "good for JP"????
  8. This organization should be ashamed not just for having this bozo on their roster but also for allowing him to run his mouth and make even a bigger mockery out of the club than he does when he's on the field. SMH
  9. You're post??? You shouldn't be calling anyone dumb in the first place but if you do, at least make sure it's not directed at one of the best posters here. BTW, isn't 35 a little bit too old for trolling?
  10. I would really hate to see a 10 game winning streak come to an end at the hands of a 37 year old junk-baller... Hopefully the hitters will stay aggressive and wont let Garcia get ahead of them with first pitch breaking balls down the middle.
  11. I don't like that idea in terms of asset management. The only real way I see both Rasmus and Gose in the outfield is if AA somehow manages to get a huge haul for Bautista - preferably a legit SP - but I doubt it will happen.
  12. I've heard him say in the past that a lot of his struggles in the 2nd half were due to overtraining. I remember at times his swing was so flat and lifeless and that could definitely be a possibility. I just hope it's not more of a mental thing like most Cards fans suggest, cause those would be harder to overcome IMO.
  13. "There has been lots of http://www.forums.mlb.com/n/pfx/forum.aspx?tsn=1&nav=messages&webtag=ml-bluejays&tid=88174
  14. Remember in the offseason when you thought JP+Sierra was all Dickey was worth but then when the price ended up being at least 10X that, you acted like it was a great deal? Losing hope in Lind and Cecil is somewhat understandable but flip-flopping the way you did was truly embarrassing.
  15. The moment I realized that he was rolling with JP as the everyday catcher (right after the Dickey trade) is the moment I lost all hope for this front office.
  16. Morrow and Dickey have both been very frustrating players as far as not living up to their expectations but JP is definitely the most frustrating player to watch on a daily basis.
  17. f*** man, are you JFS89??? If so, you gotta change your pic fast man.. I can't be associated to a dumbass. Hope you understand.
  18. Do you plan on keeping that avatar? If so, I'm gonna have to change mine soon...
  19. I'm gonna predict the unthinkable and say JP takes a walk tonight!
  20. No doubt. Although booing a Yankee is a bit understandable in my view, the general ignorant treatment of the former players is down right embarrassing. All they're accomplishing is giving the opposition more motivation to beat us and that's exactly what's happening.
  21. But Wells was booed profusely upon his return lol... So much for that theory.
  22. I think at this point it safe to put a fork in Santos and the chances of this FO ever being honest with us.
  23. The team's record in 2012 is really secondary to the fact that there was a lot of unanswered questions surrounding the club... The rotation only had one semi-reliable starter in Morrow.. a terrible catcher... a questionable Lind at DH... No one at 2B... a terrible season for Escobar at SS... an unproven 3B and CF and even Bautista was not a sure bet to return to what he was before the wrist injury. This definitely didn't scream like a team that needed to push all its chips in. The Miami deal might have made some sense but to majorly overpay for Dickey, without having some of those questions answered, and with the notion that "he'll take us over that top" was preposterous and all those who were blind to this fact at the time should hold their heads down in shame!!!
  24. Besides, it was AA's decision to go all-in with those failing players "already with the Jays"... What we're seeing here is further proof of what many of us predicted in the off-season that the pre-existing core definitely wasn't ready for a championship run.
