    It’s the same in other sports, where there’s “dangerous” lower seed teams. Some lower seed team their eliminations seems inevitable. I think AZ was closer to the former. Their lack of depth would be something that is going to show up a lot more in the course of a regular season, vs short series. You don’t necessarily expect they’ll knock off the top seeds, but it’s not shocking.

    4.2 IP for LAD’s. 16 hits 13 runs LAD will take a look at hard this winter with who is coming back and who they need. They won’t be starting a guy with a 5.73 ERA. Jays can’t score, had Biggio hitting 5th. Bad luck, we’ll run it back and get them next time!

    I don’t know who NYY pieces would be for Arenado, but I could see that happening. They’ll also be looking at the SP I think. I like Rodon to bounce back if he can stay somewhat healthy

    You get obsessed about season wins and seemingly disregard trends coming into the playoffs. Like Matt Chapman is supposedly a 4 win player and really going into the series, he’s a liability. Someone like Moreno is on the other side of the spectrum

    Unlike the Jays, I think once Woodruff goes down, with Corbin/Gallen and crew, I like that bet a lot. As I said, they got lucky they Kershae s*** the bed, but LAD didn’t do themselves any favors going into the playoffs with so many questions on the mound after Clayton. Total wins doesn’t matter as much as the team you are going into the playoffs

    The core of it is you can take this playoffs and rewind it ten times and Jays would get past MIN at best, on maybe a few tries out of the 10. They lose the next round the times they sneak in. Not a good squad. Wasn’t bad luck. Couldn’t hit for s*** really all year. Hopefully the long off-season reset does some of them good
