Toronto’s strategy for planning around cap space would be more fruitless than the Knicks doing it. No max players are coming to Tor. Write that down (even if it’s not exactly a secret). So you can only sign 2nd rate players for more than they’d get elsewhere, just like the Knocks used to.

Yeah I think Raps could still come out of the weak East if they add some talent. Gallinari isn’t the most efficient scorer but he’s a solid piece. Now their 1st rounders are more appealing as well. I don’t think you can count on anything for FA, so it’s trades and drafting. I’d probably try to package multiple 1sr rounders for an impact player if it were available

If I was the Thunder I would move Russ though. It’s not going to happen for them. Better to get a nice young talent (or two) and more picks

Parker is a league worst-type defender. Those guys usually don’t fit in well with teams that preach defense

No. I like Middle Eastern prob the best but wouldn’t want muddled kids. For their sake just as much. Latinas too, maybe if the kid had some extra baseball talent I could deal with the muddled part in that case. Just not attracted to black girls. Or Oriental. They’re supposed to make the best domestic partners but it was just never an option.

You have the LA vs. Toronto living situation against you. Also, Lakers over Clippers may be about the brand Kawhi has recently shown he’s trying to get off the ground. Probably the playing situation works in TO’s favor. I wouldn’t bet either way

Per Woj: Teams have simply been told this, "If information on your presentation gets out, you're really imperiling your chance to sign Kawhi Leonard." And so you understand why teams are keeping this so private. And his camp has not allowed that information to really get out. I was told to not to expect a decision until at least later today, possibly tomorrow on July 4th. Umm.. the LA pitch was pretty much leaked in full lol
