    I’d actually be surprised if LA let’s him start. I read another AP article and it’s general consensus LA is under no obligation to let him take the field. Union can only file a grievance saying that’s a form of punishment and really the team would come back with something like it’s a safety issue. In the meantime, he’s sitting. In any event, most (media wise) seem to think letting him take the field is more damaging to whatever little consequences a grievance could bring. If he takes the field, I’ll go ahead and assume LA feels confident in their internal investigation up to this point. They don’t have all the facts but more than us for sure

For me to try to read into it any more outside of just following what they had advised me and us to do -- I just choose to follow kind of their lead." They’re hiding behind MLB’s skirt. If they were truly outraged like the SJW, why not bench him? Even in union does complain, what’s going to be the penalty? You’re already paying him. MLB isn’t going to come down on them and Bauer would at least be benched while the grievance played out

    That’s wrong bro. If they tried to suspend him, or fine him the union would get involved but I doubt they would if they benched him. Can’t debate it’s a huge distraction and it’s a teams right to avoid it

    This is a good case of the general confusion of what canceled is. Im not defining it, just saying it’s been acknowledged it means different things to different people. The guy is taking the bump a couple days from now per the team. It’s possible he gets some sort of reprimand at some point but if it just stays an ugly he said, she said, he likely finishes the contract and it a couple years I’m not sure how repressed his next contract numbers would be. .. now, if by canceled you mean his legacy is forever tarnished and this will stay with him for his whole career, probably yeah he’s canceled

    Juries are made up of people. Continuing relationships like nothing happened after a supposed rape is just something a lot of people will struggle with. Really you kind of have to suspend your disbelief to be a supporter. Or like with Cosby or the movie guy where there’s like 50 people lining up
