  1. Matz ERA down to 3.68. Wonder what kind of deal he gets
  2. Or you can take a sample since 2019 and say he’s been garbage at the plate. Don’t think he really deserves an even split of playing time with Kirk (there’s no evidence pitching staff is better off with him either) but I guess it works for now with Kirk being a DH sometimes
  3. Left Vaughn on the bench. Hasn’t been good stretch for him
  4. Is there proper terminology to describe mixing weed and booze?
  5. How you rollin Spanky? Think you’ll make it to last pitch?
  6. Can’t even say that’s what we get for scoring 11 runs last game as we needed them all
  7. Yanks came out scorching but gave some back. Man, did T. Walker take a nose dive this season or what? Lets those snooty FIP guys flex now
  8. They pull him. I’m wondering if he had any input? Don’t teams usually let them go to like 120-130 pitches?
  9. Would’ve been a sweet ass game to see! My best memory from a game ending is a Brett Lawrie walk off, his rookie year maybe? Vs Texas in extras if I remember right. In Toronto. He threw off his helmet like 30ft in the air rounding third. Little did he know that was going to be the highlight of his career lol
  10. Well so you basically got the concept. Fwiw, I don’t think you are either but he knows you better. Who knows
  11. I hadn’t seen him play but did see the doc comments here about him not hurting it. Maybe they can stick one of those NFL-style needles filled with Toradol or whatever
  12. Actually I don’t think any of Dogg’s personalities get crass. Spanky would know better though. He’s the resident Dogg sniffer. No sarcasm
  13. I actually just bought mlb tv for the first time this season. Springer is limping basically?
  14. That’s a pretty easy dig to understand in the context… Unless you’re one of those people that wants it spelled out for clarity (really dramatic effect)

    NFL Thread

Look like the Oregon Ducks, no?
  16. First and foremost, the players don’t want him back and they’ll be just fine without him. He’ll definitely never play again as a Dodger
  17. Yeah, man. s*** does fly by. Being a good dad was the only thing I cared about enough to be good at lol. I enjoy hearing the stories here about bringing their little guy to the first game and all that. Brings back good times
  18. Yankees stadium has to be like that with tickets bc of supply/demand. They’re trying to sell their own tickets for the same price point per-Covid and there’s no demand for that. So people with season seats aren’t going to get anywhere near that I usually avoided Yankee stadium as I like good seats as my eyes suck and I don’t wear glasses. But they’re (or were) always like $300-500 even for good seats right behind the field ones
  19. 18yo. You know how that is. Prob better plans than hanging with his dad lol. We’ll see the Wed afternoon game in Tampa though next week Yeah last night saw front row $70 for the DH, sweet deal
  20. All stadiums are different obviously but Yankee game I just went to I sat 1st row of section behind expensive seats and they’re $300 face value and got them $125/each plus fees few days before. Considered a last second Baltimore trip today for the doubleheader but my son didn’t want to go. 1st from field behind dugout Jays side I saw $70 each, less than face. Going to Tampa next week and picked up seats 1st row behind dugout for $100 face
  21. Yeah basically that’s what it is. Not going to get the breaks very game. Was a nice run and hopefully they still stay hot I didn’t see if there were any “fire Montoyo” comments with Merryweather, that’s a classic hindsight 20/20 situation. When every game is important and usually close, at some point you had to see where he’s at.
  22. https://www.yahoo.com/news/nancy-pelosis-daughter-calls-trevor-020513716.html Interesting take from one of Jim’s clan Nancy Pelosi’s daughter. She rips Bauer’s agents statement about the acts being “baseless” but kind of concedes it’s questionable whether they are crimes. Former big city ADA who worked on that stuff
  23. Yeah better than choking in the playoffs I guess
