Baseball is a little different than basketball/football in that someone like Ruth or Mickey Mantle aren’t going to be undersized or anything. If either of those guys actually practiced their craft in another era, they’d still probably be as legit, or more so

Saying we won’t see it. If a team picked, Ohtani prob would’ve been forced to pick one but his situation made it where he could dictate the terms.

98% of athletes are forced to pick one or the other before HS is out. Pretty much same with someone trying to play 2 sports. We’d probably see another Bo Jackson-like dude with how athletes have evolved. Some NBA player blowing up the NFL as WR/TE or something.
