    Idk. Feels like in the celeb world/me too era, it’s not. Usually it’s a pretty flat denial that they recall the encounter differently yada yada. It doesn’t seem like they go after them gang busters

    I read some articles on it sometimes. JD is so f***ing weird/strange and so many drugs involved. Really hard to relate. The girl seems like she’s crazy in her own way and not with honorable intentions. Just a total dumpster fire of a situation lol.

    I don’t think you can play with starter wins. You guys hate it of course, and what you say makes sense, but the numbers are part of history and it’d erase all the past if you start giving guys like Berrios a win in that situation. But you can change the stat like they’ve done and award it to the most deserving guy after the starter No stat is really perfect. FIP as a stat you can say is kid of dumb. Maybe as a predictive tool it’s good but honestly who wants to judge a pitchers game but what their FIP was that day. There’s a line between trying to use advanced stats to predict future performance and appreciating what happens on the field

    As I’ve said, as a Jay fan I’m not rooting against him. But he’s been f***ing terrible. Someone else needs to get some kind of shot and he’s got to go to Buffalo and see if he can figure something out, but it’s not looking good for him

    I feel like for all the time and effort you’re putting into draft and holds, may as well be a regular league lol. I’m not sure there’s less maintenance in these draft and holds

    I think there’s been such a heavy bias against the concept of pitcher wins that even this nice chance isn’t enough to appease those people (you people) lol

    Tonight is just a bad example. There’s times when a pitcher gets key outs in the 6-8 inning range and deserves the W for their part. So I think the new way of scoring is more important than routine saves and holds actually. The old way was what was dumb. Just awarding a pitcher for the point they came in

    That’s fair but in the sense of Hall of FAME.. Yady had the Ozzie Smith type generational buzz going for him. He played on the same team, who were a good team consistently… RM was kind of a merc, didn’t have same buzz. I’m just stating the facts of why one is slam dunk and the other isn’t. Not arguing merits
